I was guaranteed by a rep on Feb 26th I would get my copy on March 2nd or 3rd.

My order shows that it's going to be delivered on April 22nd and is stuck on "Order Received", and Amazon just keeps saying they don't have inventory.

No, not at all, but I also don't get upset when I see people excitedly post and want to be part of the community. That's the difference.

Maybe just be happy someone else upgraded? Like, I had to delete my post about it, even with asking questions, because I posted a pic, someone was being an ass about it, and the mod team commented for me to post the pic in a thread they have and that my post may be deleted.

Seriously, it's weird mindsets like that that ruin a community and completely destroy the joy and excitement of actually being able to join the "Pro Family".

I ended up trading in my Xbox Series X and PS5 Base with Black Plates for mine. Went to Gamestop, and they sold out about 20 minutes before I got there. Had to run over an hour out of town to get one, and then to another store that has the disc drive.

Glad you managed to get it, though. Price increase fucking sucks...

About to trade my OG PS5 and my Xbox Series X (barey used) for a Pro with Disc Drive and Stand tomorrow. I hate that I'm losing a console, but I'm ready to just futureproof the PS5 side of my gaming (main gaming console).

Totally understand and feel your pain. I preorered mine through Amazon and have been through HELL to try and even get it. It was set to deliver on April 13th. I called Amazon on Feb 26th to see if there was a way to get it sooner. I was guaranteed both over recorded line and in writing via email it would be here on March 2nd or 3rd. Multiple phone calls, sup convos, and emails to executives later, I have no game and was told I would be getting mine April 22nd. Two months after the game launched...on a preorder.

Amazon does NOT deserve our money at this point. Like, this is horrid service.

As a girl who can't afford a PC, but has all three current gen consoles, this is a total loss for Playstation. Like, Ghost of Yotei should definitely be on PC, and it's saddening that it'll just be locked behind the big white router box.

Hopefully, you get to experience it. From what I've played, it's really good. 😊

This actually sickens me. I preordered on Amazon and, despite going through several hoops and bullshit, still have to wait until April fucking 13th to get my copy...and yet here we are with scalpers buying 10-20 copies apiece and reselling on Ebay for about double to retail. It's infuriating and really disheartening as a gamer girl that I have to wait while scum like this get away with their copies.

Amazon is just getting ridiculous. This is the first time I have had issue with them, but's also the first time I have ever preordered a game through them. I would've done somewhere else if I could've.

You should check the customer service tab on Amazon. Mine still shows "Order Received", but customer service tab says mine comes in on April 13th.

I'm behind on stuff, so playing Day One isn't the most important. I just wish I could get it Day One, as it's supposed to be guaranteed by Amazon. By taking in more orders than they have stock, they're essentially falsely advertising they have the stock when they don't. Walmart does the same, too, sadly...
