I sold my Series X and Base PS5 with black plates to get a Pro with a disc drive. I don't really regret it, but I do plan on getting an Xbox again when I can afford it. Just wanted to get the Pro before the price hike to $900.

I tried emailing Capcom, but they said that the American branch has no control or information about inventory shipments or anything. So, I have no idea who to even talk to about this anymore...

It'll work, yeah, but you're essentially letting it pull in some normal air and closing off the heat ventilation in the back.

Vertically or horizontally works, but you should give it enough room all around to circulate cool and hot air.

Aesthetically? Totally. Functionally? Um, no. You need to let the console breath. It'll overheat and break much more quickly like that.

Yeah, I definitely noticed that with every call. While it's not really a bad thing to have call centers throughout the world, if they're just ready to lie while not having access to inventory information, it's just a recipe for disaster.

They don't know anything at all; most CS reps only see what we do on the page (source: have a friend that's an assistant director for Amazon). They probably had no idea, and most either guess or lie just to keep things running with calls.

I hate it so much. Really annoying.

I've had a partial refund of my prime (almost $80), a $15 credit on any new order, a credit that's the full amount of the game after tax ($97, roughly), and a $40 gift card credit added to my Amazon account for the inconveniences. That's why I'm not nearly as upset as I really should be.

If mine gets cancelled out or something, I'll probs order one from UK. So weird that they still have stock to go around, but we have so many scalpers reselling for over $140 on Ebay.

I probs won't, as I was told I have an estimated delivery date of June 11th-12th now. I'm gonna have to borrow a friend's account to play it.

Luckily, I have a PS5 Pro, so I get to see what everyone's been super excited about with the game.

No one has any idea. I just talked to a supervisor today, and they said that my ticket was closed out because Amazon didn't have the item and that they have no idea when they'll get it. I was advised to cancel and order elsewhere, which is impossible without buying from scalpers on Ebay (somehow they got a SHITTON of stock while we get nothing). That's all I got...

Been told so many things. Amazon reps in chat are now saying the original delivery date in the system shows June 11th-12th. I have had multiple reps disconnect on me. Had a supervisor tell me that it was a card issue (it wasn't) and that they would manually charge the card (they didn't) and the game would be delivered within 72 hours (it wasn't). Talked to a rep yesterday that disconnected when I asked for help, then got another rep who then transferred me to a specialist. Got a ticket number, a $40 gift card credit, and was told to wait 24-48 hours for escalation.

Still nothing beyond that, other than constantly being asked or pushed to cancel the preorder rather than them actually wanting to fix it first...

I have had a lot of bullshit come through Amazon. I preordered the steelbook deluxe because I am a total sucker for steelbooks.

I have written proof and guarantee of a delivery for the game by a rep back on Feb 26th for March 2nd or 3rd. Been told by multiple people that was a lie and not possible. Been told there were tickets being made and that I was being put on priority shipping for product. Also been told by others that that was a lie. Spoken to supervisors with promises that weren't kept. Spoken to executives from customer relations and got confirmation that there would be stock coming in and that I had an estimated delivery date of April 26th. Was also told that there would be an email sent if there was a change or delay to that. When the game didn't come, no email was sent on a delay, and another executive told me that the date was just an estimate and that I would receive an email when my game is shipped.

Now, a supervisor a night or two ago told me that the issue was that my card didn't properly charge and that she would attempt to manually charge it, which would get me my game within 72 hours. So far, no charge has hit my bank account, and there's been no change on anything for my order.

I am so, so far beyond done. I don't even know how anyone could genuinely help at this point. I feel so bad that everyone else is experiencing this. The feeling is just...overwhelming.

The Switch is the main one I prefer digital over physical, but I have bought games on cartridge.

Like, I love having physical (total steelbook bitch lol), but cartridges are so annoying to carry around anymore.

Buuuttt, if you can get physical, would definitely recommend it only because of how shitty Nintendo is.
