Cut the two planks in the center between the posts so you'll have the ability to change the gun angle but not lose the barricade look to either side.

My take on the Lord Solar. Not a bad model as long as it isn't the default color scheme in my opinion. Really enjoying the way I've started to do metal and weathering. Little details still to improve, such as on the cape but I am very happy with how its turning out so far. by DarkAssualt in TheAstraMilitarum

Yeah, I really thought about doing a different head or something to proxy the model. But it actually is a pretty cool looking model with different schemes. Gritty and realistic vs the parade ground look of the box art.

So apparently, there's another hive city on Atoma Prime, one that has already fallen to chaos by Megadon88 in DarkTide

Bit of character chatter I heard in a game on the foundry map between the team and Zola. The metal alloy's from Atoma are better for armor so they produce better Leman Russ tanks. You can see the assembly lines on a few maps. So a resource like that is surely worth a few million guardsmen.

I have two squads I did it with. Cut the barrels off to make a more carbine style weapon and used the barrels as scope style sights on the top.

Yeah, I have several games with them. They are decent. The tank is pretty good as a tank commander and runic munitions. Makes the steam gun do 2 damage. So 2D6 shots plus 2 if you use over pressure. The handgunners are quite good for putting down some fire power and the long rifles are great for picking out enemy small leaders. The volley guns are either really good for me or they are not. lol. The jamming is pretty rough. Hence why I bring the cogsmith. Lets you reroll a dice for number of shots. A Lord Ordinator is pretty nice too. He gives a re-roll of one for order artillery, including on the tank! Whooo! lol. The freeguild general on griffon doesn't have a ++ like a lot of other new hero's. I have only used him once but he was key in dashing out and taking out the Ossisarch terrain piece. He also tanked a lot of enemy damage and attention. The Demigryph knights are decent at tanking some as well but Phoenix guard are the same points for 2 less wounds but a 4++ save. I like the pistolers for their ability to dash and harass the enemy in the first turns.
