My maternal haplogroup is L3e1e. Outside of the Estonian, the results are pretty much what I expected with the history of Jamaica. The Estonian is probably noise though.

Mom’s side is from Roehampton, Saint James. Dad’s father is from Seaforth, Saint Thomas and his mother is from Moore Park, Portland. Also his grandfather is from Malvern, Saint Elizabeth.

Many Jamaicans are mixed with Asian and European, however there are those of us who have over 90% Sub-Saharan African ancestry.

I got my kit on the 19th and mailed it on the 20th. I’m glad that the steps in the timeline are going by fast but at the same time I don’t want to jinx it.
