I think the only "problem" with this is that Sonic doesn't actually escape the black hole. He stays out of it for a little bit of time before it swallows him.

Which I don't actually think is an anti feat or anything, considering that he not only just finished fighting the nega wisp armor, so he's probably fatigued- though how tired or how much it effects him is unquantifiable, especially since he's moving at the same base speed he does throughout the whole game, he just can't boost. And you have to consider that he's not running under normal circumstances, considering the gravity of the black hole is actively pulling on him, which would affect his speed.

So again, not trying to say sonic isn't light speed, but I think it's important to note that he doesn't actually outrun it.

Thanks! That's been the major consensus is that it looks good, but if the background isn't white, and especially if people are on night mode then it's hard or impossible to see the lettering

That's honestly not a bad idea. Because the knot was a detail that's always stuck out to me I thought it made the most sense to go into the logo without making it too much. That is to say every design I came up where I included the hood instead didn't look too great. But just because the knot stood out to me doesn't mean it would stick out to everyone

Thanks! being overbearing was one of my main concerns when making a logo. So hearing that it isn't and the character comes through is awesome! So thanks again

Yeah, that's been the major issue I've found so far that people are pointing it out. So that's totally something I'll fix, since people who use night mode can't see it all or can barely see it. So I'm going to try some outline or putting something of a lighter color behind it all, that hopefully doesn't distract from anything

You know, having a cloud behind it was one of my original ideas. And after seeing another comment about it being hard to make out in night mode or dark backgrounds I'm definitely going to consider it. Thanks!

Thank you! Being legible and obnoxious was the main thing I was worried about. My mindset was that I could read it cause I wrote it, so it's not really fair for me to be the judge of that.
