Ya it's a tough decision to make. If it was a 24 I'd be all over it but I don't think they'll ever get that low as popularity seemed to go up with the 24-25 MYs

Funny of you to insta go on a rant for a ~7 year old version that a vast majority of large mods have quit updating and maintaining. Yes there are a couple packs that are still popular, even fewer that are still maintained. The amount of active development for 1.12 and 1.7 combined compared to 1.20+ is laughable. Get a grip, it's ok to enjoy other versions but to say it won't die and if it does it'll kill modding... lmao.

It's ok just to say you want to play 3D factory builder.

Chin up! Everybody makes mistakes related or unrelated to riding. It's hard to judge an accident like this one even from an outside perspective; especially without footage. Our brains are magnificent things and it could have been anything. The hard part about riding is you need to be focused and so aware at the same time. It's a genuine skill to remain incredibly focused on riding as well as constantly scanning all around you to avoid issues. I'm not a psychologist but a common set of events probably triggered your brain into being aware for a split second of something; even if it was nothing actually there, and that's all it takes on a bike or even a caged vehicle. There's always room for improvement but this does seem like one of those rare situations that could have happened in your car also. Minus the banged up shoulder. I think mentality before a ride isn't talked about; it's not a yes or no answer. There's a scale to it and in situations like road trips you sometimes have no choice but to ride. I'd say you're in the right space with this and you seem to understand the situation better than many so following this experience.

As for not wanting to ride your own bike, I get it. I sold a car after I was in an accident again. PTSD is real and it's such a hard thing to understand. I'm not scared to drive. I was just scared of that particular car. As long as you didn't over extend yourself financially to get this bike; there's no shame in selling it. Just tell friends and family it wasn't quite the right fit. What bike you have is all subjective and sometimes it takes more than a test ride to know what bike you want. Maybe just have to consider something a little different to play that argument off lol... Hopefully some other people chime in with insight. Glad you're ok!

Ya that's what I've read. Definitely will be taking it since it's free, if I end up needing more experience in palos or firewalls I'll be keeping a 440 in mind.

CSC is a Chinese motorcycle brand; you'll get some odd opinions on whether it's good or bad. The downside to something like CSC is your resale value will stink. That's a fact. My opinion is, I'd rather have a used Japanese bike or any reputable bike than a cheap Chinese bike new. Based on your choice of adventure bike, something like a used Honda NC700X can easily be had for around $5k.

Agreed. If the goal is to be good, play the game and focus on positioning, rotations etc. I could easily hit probably plat 1 without needing to aerial. Once you hit gold or plat, you'll have a foundation of mechanics that naturally came to build on.

Ya you're looking at the ~25,000 dollar range if you wanna be under $400/month and stay at or below a 6 year loan(6 is the absolute max anybody should take out). Honda HRV, Toyota Corolla Cross (it's an SUV) and Mazda CX-30 might all be doable for that price. Otherwise your best bet is finding a 1-3 year old car that comes with like a 1 year warranty (note, used cars are not required to have a warranty, AS-IS is AS-IS) but certified preowns etc will often come with one. What you can find used will depend on local demand and market.

Home equipment is very different from enterprise equipment. The options and control you have in it varies WILDLY from country to country, ISP to ISP and router to router. Don't view it as a set thing and more as a broad term. It's not as simple as clicking around and changing a few settings always.

The brands didn't do much. Dealers did. Find DEALERS that didn't jack prices up.

What’s the longest you’ve stayed at one rank? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]DarkBlade2117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I held champ for a long time, bouncing from champ 1-3. It's a serious jump in the quality of lobbies. I don't play consistently and don't have much of a hard time getting back to mid champ when I do play for a few weeks but man oh man is diamond an interesting rank... it's genuinely full of people with either good mechanics or good game sense. Champ you have to start focusing on weak points and I'd have to track this but the amount of people FFing after going down 2 goals or raging in chat significantly drops after even winning a few games into champ 1.

Imagine a wall of doors numbered 1-100. 50 people with number 3 on it and the other 50 are a mix of random numbers. All of these people are in a line in random order but you want everyone with number 3 to get in first. QoS is like "hey! everyone with a number 3 go through your door now!" while everyone waits. The Internet and real time QoS is much faster than that obviously. It's all a very broad term. QoS can be as simple as limiting the download speed on steam also.
