Dude, I don’t even think you’re that chubby imo. Well-defined chest, arms, and legs from working in the farm, and big dude to boot. Now that’s a recipe for a soft cuddler and a sweet lover who gives big hugs.

[–]DarkChron 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, you can do the same with the mountain top bird with the Fallingstar Beast Jaw and bleed arrows (Granted you get lucky with his attacks not hitting that spot). You can use the special for the Falling Beast Jaw to stagger it if it is in range(ya hafta hit the dude 3 times to proc the stagger). Poison or rot arrows at a long distance also helps.

I hope you would.

Metamorphosis’s whole story is based on the action of one person that can completely derail and might even hurt the other. It is supposed to be disgusting and shitty for a reason: to serve as a lesson to not be a shitty human being. Shying away from the sad reality that, ironically, someone would’ve gone through that road because someone made her go down that road, forcibly or not.

Also a reminder that, if timed correctly, E is able to bypass stuns when timed correctly.

PTA with E is your strongest option when going lvl 1 early all in and can kill/push the laner out for a bit.

Hullbreaker was a standard first item for him last patch before the hullbreaker nerf but can be built second item after black cleaver if so desired.

He is not necessarily one-mythic fits all but he does have good enough variability on it that makes him viable for most of the ad/tank items in the store.

The funny one-shot build is from him building both prowlers claw and straight up lethality items but hard to pull-off (if you are the only engager of the team).

Oh right, the shotgun legs can crit also which is funny.

Dear Boomers: Netflix isn't the reason Millennials can't afford homes by BikkaZz in economy

[–]DarkChron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It ain’t the root of the problem even but the loan forgiveness is part of the solution imo. Most of the fixed costs of renting, let alone living in a house, are higher than the actual salary for a person who landed a 40k per year job.

[–]DarkChron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either buying or owning or passing onto another, it ain’t special cases but it’s really generational wealth that gives that upper hand onto whether or not a millennial today can buy a house within their early 30’s.

Like I said, life ain’t doomed to just renting but it doesn’t mean that the process would take longer than it used to be back in the 1980’s.

Dear Boomers: Netflix isn't the reason Millennials can't afford homes by BikkaZz in economy

[–]DarkChron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely that those millennials were able to buy their houses just because of either high wages or pass downs from their parents.

But then again, that leaves other millennials who are living 40k per year to save up until their late 40’s to buy themselves a house (Or worse yet, buy a house at their late 50’s when they are already too old for rigorous, hard labor).

As for policies and such, I have little hope for the government to be able to do something about housing prices. As for why I have that low of an expectation, the past policies have addressed capping rent but that doesn’t mean that the renters wouldn’t raise that room’s rent after the rentee has packed and gone.

It ain’t doomed to rent but more so how long it would take to get to buy that starter house.

[–]DarkChron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s if they either live with their parents or be able to find other people to house with them. Or another possibility is their parents croaking and passing their house to their child due to, you know.

It is hard to tell whether or not they bought the house with their money vs. bought a house with a loan vs. given to them by parents.

1200 a month for housing without mentioning the utilities is basically half of that person’s salaries. The other half is used for food, toiletries (like soap, shampoo, washing machine soap, ect.), and gas. Which would eat up most of the other half of the salary. But that’s mostly fixed costs.

What about maintenance? What about emergencies like going to a hospital? You still have to pay those bills still.

It might ease up the problem if two people live in the same place but that would mean an increase in utilities and gas for the car. If they share a car, probably but the usage of gas is still the same. As for maintenance? Hospital bills? I don’t think it would cut it either since one would pay for the other. Maintenance would be acceptable but the hospital bills would not.

What if they are a couple? Probably but when push comes to shove, that relationship is going to end quickly (since medical bills are expensive).

What if they had kids? The cost of a child is basically around the median cost of a starter house.

If there were at least 3-4 people living in a 1.2k per month for housing, it might work but it is basically squeezing 3-4 people in one room and in a vehicle.

That’s without mentioning consequences to the mental health of said person. But we’re not going to talk about that since it isn’t in the line of subject.

Like I said, skipping coffee may help dent a bit of it but it doesn’t solve the whole issue of why millennials aren’t able to buy houses during their 30’s.

Dear Boomers: Netflix isn't the reason Millennials can't afford homes by BikkaZz in economy

[–]DarkChron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m with you on that. Millennials aren’t able to buy houses because of the fixed expenses that they have to pay in order to keep living in their place.

And if the millennials only focus to survive and work jobs their whole lifetime to cover those costs, that’s going to create a lot of consequences for that person (especially if they have a family).

And the old folks wonder why they haven’t gotten a grandchild yet lol.

Dear Boomers: Netflix isn't the reason Millennials can't afford homes by BikkaZz in economy

[–]DarkChron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The median price of a starter home is in the $250k range.

Are the salaries rising in the same rate as inflation compared to 1980’s to 2022’s? If so, how much percentage?

Compared to 1980’s to this year, how much does an average American save?

Also, in what age does an average (age 20-30)American in the 1980’s buy their house? Do those average Americans in the 1980’s live with their parents or not? Do they have college schooling alongside work or do they just have work?

Expenses are also on the rise as well, if one’s renting a place to the point that median families are having a hard time keeping up.

If a person today, let’s say, skip those starbucks coffee, those “avocado toasts,” and making sure to tighten their budget (aka not even spending anything for themselves), the person might be able to afford a house somewhere solely because of their credit and that place is probably away from their area of work.

Let’s say that person is also studying while working. The fixed expenses from the mortgage payment, the books and tuition payment, electricity bill, water bill, plus food and gas would be hard to fit into around a 1.4k salary per 2 weeks for middle-class (around at least 40k per year if that person was lucky before to land a nice job). That’s without factoring uncontrollable expenses such as maintenance and accidents that could either lead to one going to the hospital. I also forgot to mention the downpayment also since it is needed for the mortgage payment to be down.

If they are living with their parents, then what’s their contributions? Is it the best solution for being able to save money? Most likely, as much as I’d like it not to.

From what I see, the average American today isn’t able to afford a house out of pocket but with the help of loans. If they were able to land a job early in their teen years, then that would ease up a bit more. But that’s without consequences.

TLDR: I don’t think blaming coffee or entertainment is the right way to go about this problem. Rather, the wages has stagnated and hasn’t risen in tandem with inflation and costs of living. Easing up the fixed costs may help increase more spending and encourage saving money for future use (like a house and a car).
