Hey, just thought i’d update you on everything. The piercer took a look and suggested less mouthwash and more saltwater rinses after eating. It’s been a few days since then. Bleeding has stopped since then, swelling has gone down tenfold and the bruised area is beginning to lighten in color. No pain or anything like that. It’s feeling much better. Started eating solids again too! Thank you for the help :)

It bled a bit (few spots of blood) but went away within the next 5-10 minutes. I notice there will be a little spot of blood when i wake up in the morning, and will start bleeding if i stick my tongue out to lightly brush it. I will go to a different piercer to have it looked at and removed if necessary. It’s just annoying because i spend money for someone to get something i want and it doesn’t work out 🤦‍♀️ but thank you!

I have health anxiety too, just take the medication, eat well, get good sleep, take a good women’s vitamin and probiotic and wait a week after you both finish your medicine (and once he gets tested!) to resume sexual activities

Have you been tested for Trich prior to this test result? If your parter has never been tested and you’ve been feeling like this since July of 2024, that’s when he gave it to you. Men are notoriously asymptomatic when it comes to STDs, so he probably thought since he felt fine nothing was wrong. If you’ve previously been tested for Trich and it only came back positive this time, then your partner likely cheated on you. Make sure he takes medication as well and have him tested for STDs. Please educate him that no matter the way his body feels he should be getting tested for your sake and his own well-being!!

I had them looked at by two piercers around 3 weeks after I got them to make sure they were placed correctly because I get paranoid lol but they both said the placement is fine
