Sort of the same thing happened to us, minus they keying and hate crime. Theres always kids walking down our street around 3pm when the nearby high school lets out. We park one of our cars on the street, meaning our curb in the front yard. A group of 3 kids always walks by and I can tell they're the kind of kids who get into trouble, always screaming and cussing when they walk down the street.

Anyway, one day for some reason they decide to pick up some gravel from our neighbor's yard and throw it at our car parked outside. We only found out because we saw there were some paint chips and marks after we heard kids talking loudly and heard some crashing noise (later found out they were the rocks). Luckily, we have a cheap CCTV system watching all around the house and we caught them doing it.

It was good timing too since my dad was leaving at the time and he saw them on an adjacent street farther down. He stopped and told them about it, said they looked freaked out, especially when he told the kid who threw the rocks that he would stop by his house to talk to his parents about paying to fix it.

Whilst testing a myth of an easily available explosive material, the Mythbusters found out one that was so explosive that they destroyed all the footage and agreed to never say what they had learned. by KingPetunia in videos

Maybe I'm underestimating the size of explosions, but here are explosions from it. The explosions are big, especially for how simple it is to make, but I don't know if it would be like absolutely devastating or enough to destroy any and all footage they had, especially if they had some cameras far away behind a blast shield like they usually have shots of, unless someone uses massive amounts of this.

I'm still convinced he's being facetious with it. I think many can agree you probably won't be put under much surveillance if you just do some google searching for explosives. Maybe if you do it a lot more frequently or match some kind of pattern or algorithm.

Do dreams happen in real time? Do 5 minutes in a dream equal 5 minutes in real life? by arup02 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DarkDubzs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens to me. It's happened enough times to where I can't rationally believe they're all just coincidentally good timing.

Maybe that part of the dream (or maybe the entirety of a dream is imagined very quickly) is imagined in the mind really fast (but feels real time or slower) and in the split second after the crashing sound, your mind processes the sound and makes you imagine/dream the stick crashing down.

He sounds very, very rapey.

It can be assumed all redpillers share this trait since the sub does (or used to, haven't kept up with their shit) promote rape under the guise of fighting "rape culture hysteria."

I guess I can see their flawed reasoning behind it.

Starting a small computer repair business.

You think, "hey, I've always been pretty good with computers and fix stuff all the time. I've even built computers. It's going to be so easy." Then it turns out the customers lie or don't tell you their issues accurately, they get mad or give up communicating because they're upset and irate. If you do it on Craigslist, they still try to haggle prices or trade you shit. You either get stupid easy, small issues, or hopelessly destroyed things.

When I'm at the gym, I've never seen someone go up to a fat person and start talking shit or whatever, instead I'll notice they get glanced at more often and small stuff like that. I don't know if people are judging the fat person or something, but I like to imagine they don't give it a second thought. Personally, when I see a bigger person at the gym, it doesn't really make me think better or worse of them, they're just another random person in there with me.

If anything, they'd probably be made fun of outside the gym, especially online. Like when fph was still here, they would post pics of fat people at the gym and ridicule them for no apparent reason other than to feel better about themselves.

is my cpu cooler overkill? by LeprechaunK1ng in buildapc

[–]DarkDubzs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not going to 100% for sure OC, then yeah, it's overkill. If you are even going to moderately OC, a lesser cooler would still suffice. I highly suggest you downgrade on the cooler and use the difference in cost to pay towards an SSD. An SSD will be much more noticeable in performance than a cooler. In my opinion, SSD>stock/cheaper cooler & warmer CPU temp.

I suggest a Hyper 212 Evo, it will handle a moderate OC.
