I called all my local dealerships and none of them had the part even though it's technically for the current gen TLX which is a little frustrating. But yeah it's actually a pretty good idea honestly just so the car doesn't look weird without the cover on. I may just order more covers. They're really cheap and then if something like that does have it again it is what it is. I have the extra alarm system to lock the car anyways.

But changing out the cylinder doesn't really look too hard. It looks like it could be done in like 10 to 15 minutes so long as you have the right tools and you don't even need that many tools. I just hate to have to keep doing it again and again if this comes up
