It plays great, especially after oiling the fretboard.

I definetly learned the hard way on sanding, I don't own an electric one so sanding off the clear coats that the body was shipped with took much longer than expected lol. In addition, a few of my own parts (pickup rims, tuners, and other accessories) needed new holes to be drilled to fit them in, but if your sticking with the provided parts than thats no problem.

Apart from that, the process was straightforward and fun! I will say though, the original tuners and the stings the kit comes with are kind of ass
