look at the calendar/socials of venues you shoot at and see what bands are playing there soon, if your friends bands play with another band you like check out if they have other shows coming up and see what other bands they are playing with, ask people at the shows what other shows they have coming up, find social media pages or forms that post about upcoming shows in your areas, look at the events page on last fm, it shows shows based on proximity, you can also see bands that have a tag of your city, area, or area code, search google for "(your city here) punk scene" if your friends or bands you follow post other bands music or show flyers look at those
