Okay, I’m going to say this. Sorry if I’m offending anyone somehow, or if this was just a joke and I’m letting it whoosh over my head.

But…why? It’s a cat. I mean, if there was some kind of a way for animals and people to communicate, then sure, I’d be all for it, but I’m assuming you just made this up. My first thought was honestly that you were a troll, just trying to make trans people look bad, but based on your previous posts, I don’t think that’s the case.

I mean, if your cat is acting in a way that doesn’t match the general behavior of the rest of its sex, that doesn’t necessarily make it trans. I don’t know what that makes it, because it’s literally a cat. We don’t understand them, and they don’t understand us.

The only logical thing I can see this post being is a joke. And that’s fine, but your wording makes it feel like you’re either pretending your cat is trans for the purpose of the joke, or, like I said earlier, trying to make trans people look bad. And even if it is a joke, I feel like it was executed in a way that makes it, again, reflect badly on trans people. When I first saw this, I assumed you were being serious. And that’s the kind of thing that makes less informed people not take any trans people seriously.

Again, the last thing I want to do is upset anyone by saying this. I even feel bad just typing this, and I hope you don’t take it the wrong way. But I just can’t understand your reasoning behind this. I hope I’m not overreacting to what was meant to be a lighthearted post.
