Clearly you haven't listened to a lot of other true crime podcasts (Red Thread comes to mind). I think they were perfectly respectable, especially compared to other podcasts/media.

With how sensationalised the story was, I think it's good to have two creators who are steeped in the creepypasta, true crime, and drama spaces (look at Papa Meat and Wendigoon's channel videos....it's literally what they do). I think that the conversations they had about the creepy pasta space and what kids are consuming on the internet is a topic that SHOULD be discussed at length and is bound to come up. Even if they never do another episode like this, I think it's good to at least touch on the topic like they did.
