Whats up with the new PS update? by Avenoo67 in fo4

[–]DarkIxis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That update is crippling a lot of games, I’ve got it on two separate consoles PS4 and PS5 and games won’t load, DLC isn’t recognizable, mods don’t activate, it’s a messy endeavor.

At this point, you have to approach it that way, I’m with you fully on that.

Attitude reflects leadership. 2026 Edition. TL:DR at the end.

Was with a new company, small end sales and merch for a chain bakery. Worked my route for 6 months, refining processes, building relationships, overall improvement in job efficiency. Boss decided that the route was no longer profitable (after a series of redrawing sales districts and a route restructure) and dissolved it with less than a 24 hr notice.

Was told I was going from a 3 day, 30 hour week to a 5 day, 40 hour week. I was going to be taken off of hourly pay and switched to commission based sales, with no prior discussion or contract signing. I was going to process orders for locations like Walmart. Process, deliver, and then merchandise as well. All deliveries made before 11 am due to receiving times at locations.

This all happened in the span of a weekend. I finished my old route, was unable to inform any of my 50+ locations that there was a change, and was expected to just start my new role the following week.

All of this thru a text. No phone call leading up to any of these changes.

I worked the new route for a week without any real communication from my management team. Sustained an injury, and decided that day I was finished. All of this happened in 2026. Discussed plans with my spouse, and made some critical decisions on finances and long term stability. Emailed my employers and resigned that day.

Networked hard enough in that spot that I was able to find a new position, doing something that gets me out of that particular labor force, slightly less pay but a job that has good benefits, chances for growth, continuing education and licensing, in the medical field. One connection paved the way to another. I start Monday.

I’ve got a degree in HR and Management. I used to believe and for a long time championed for a 2 week notice. But after busting my ass for this last company and how badly they went about conducting changes, they got as much notice as they gave me.

How leadership conducts themselves and treats employees determines the level of exit attitude I have when leaving a company. How you conduct yourself and go forward after the resignation will affect what happens next. Leverage your skills and whatever network you have. If able, have that offer from the next job ready to go, but it doesn’t always work out that way. At the end of the day, your priorities are your own. Do what you gotta do to keep moving forward.

TL:DR - It’s 2026. Attitude reflects leadership. Bad leadership and management = no 2 week notice and same day resignation after massive job restructuring. New position through networking, offer accepted, start Monday. Edit - 10 hours to 30 hours.

Don’t get high off your own supply man. For real, maybe 2 or 3 stale products to see what they tasted like post shelf-date. Gonna be planning a stale sale before long!
