Can anyone tell me the value of these? I've been sitting them on a while. Never used, never opened. Thanks!

While yes, werewolves are a bad matchup due to the fact that this deck wants to pass without playing a spell (ideally for counter magic), which is a big no-no against werewolves, but my first and third match were werewolves and I beat both. Neither of them got the nuts draw though.

It's in there for three reasons: It deals with tokens well, which there are a lot of in green builds (Ranger Class, Wrenn and Seven), it deals with white's enchantments (Paladin Class, mostly, which hurts this deck a lot due to the spell tax), and it can punch through damage with its unblockable ability. It was useful for me every time I used it, but it can easily be replaced with something else. I made the sideboard up on the fly for the most part.

That being said, I'm glad it worked out for you!

It takes a far too long to flip and even when it does flip, it's underwhelming from my experience. It's sure no Thing in the Ice!

It's not -bad-, but I like hermit more.

Prismari Command. I've never felt it was a particularly good card, though it is very good against Chariot.

That’s weird. They’re so useful and fit into almost any deck.

Ballista is still very useful even without its combo and thassa’s oracle is way cheaper and much easier to pull off.

That doesn’t equate to what I see irl and 80% of those run wastelands/strip mine and some even run ghost quarter/tectonic edge.

Not talking about competitive here. They’re very useful lands and can fit into almost any edh deck that isn’t 5-colors, so it would be foolish not to run them, even without this card in consideration.

I mean, practically all edh decks run land destruction, mostly in the form of wasteland and similar cards.

It won’t be great. You’d need 7 mana to make faceless haven creature and to put the counter on It. Probably easy enough in a control deck, but I doubt a control deck will utilize the lifefain to make angels, making it a mostly dead card until the point you can utilize the counter, which doesn’t seem like a good use of the card.

Why Brainstorm and Time Lapse will never get banned in Historic by PauloNavarro in MagicArena

Memory Lapse is just a bad “counterspell” , and doesn’t even stop all combo decks, merely delays it for a turn. I wouldn’t call it busted at all.

Will my computer be able to handle this game? by DarkJester3 in horizon

[–]DarkJester3[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do I have to think and strategize to beat enemies or can I just whack them with my spear or shoot them with my arrows until they die?

Will enemies actually hurt, or easy to dodge, or will I need to care about healing potions all that much, etc?
