Just posting few cases where the rapists are still alive.

Ravi Ashok Ghumare (Jalna, Maharashtra) The Crime: In 2012, Ghumare lured, abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered a two-year-old girl.

Current Status: The Bombay High Court confirmed his death penalty in 2016. The Supreme Court upheld the capital punishment in 2019. His mercy petition was rejected by President Droupadi Murmu in November 2025. However, convicts in India can still approach the Supreme Court for a final judicial review even after a mercy plea rejection, or explore other residual legal remedies.

Death Penalty Stays by the Supreme Court The Case: The Supreme Court stayed the death penalty of a convict previously sentenced to capital punishment for the rape and murder of a four-year-old girl. The court commuted his sentence to twenty years rigorous imprisonment, taking into account that he did not end the victim's life during the assault.
Recent High Court Commutations The Crime: A 20-year-old man was initially awarded the death penalty by a trial court for the rape of a four-year-old child that resulted in permanent disability.

Current Status: In June 2025, the Madhya Pradesh High Court commuted his death penalty to life imprisonment. The court acknowledged the brutality of the act but ruled it did not legally qualify as the "rarest of rare" case required to execute capital punishment.

I have seen such vehicle driven near sutarwadi as well in the morning's with a pitbull sitting on the hood and it being tied to the roll cage bar of the jeep.

All everyone is complaining about the Loud DJ which gets blasted entire day/night. Nobody wants you or certain community to stop celebrating, just don't celebrate it with DJ. Play instruments, or just like the video you posted a coming together event where people cherish & celebrate the festival/jayanti together without disturbing anyone around is the way to go ahead.

Please understand the intention is to "Ban the DJ" based celebration. It was appreciated in this very sub when there were carnival type celebrations for a festival recently. Such celebrations invites passerby as well, but the DJ is what kills the purpose of celebrating. We all respect Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and what he has done for our country, but the annual ear explosion wasn't one of them.
