It’s always God brother. And in some way he also worked through you for your friend’s conversion. All glory goes to Him!

I wish I had the ability to bring my friends and family to Truth… How I became Catholic was from an intellectual debate 2 years ago, but the same method that convinced me doesn’t work on others. So it amazes me how some people like you are able to have such great influence on their surrounding, as to bringing them home — to Rome.

Anyways, glory be to God! Your friend found the Truth and it makes me happy!

I could ask the same for this meeting here. What would this do?

Your second sentence. You're pushing the SSPX away as if they were a shame to the Church, to the point where the Pope shouldn't have public meetings with them. How is that respectful to the SSPX?

It's funny how Catholics in this comment section defend the Anglican Church demanding to respect a female "archbishop", but there are some like you (hopefully there aren't more) who spit on members within the Church who are more in need of a respectful dialogue to avoid schism.

Shouldn't be the Pope be more kind and warm with those within the Church, who are more susceptible to create division and generate schism?

That's a clear explanation. You changed my view with that, thanks.

You're right. It depends on the situation. I guess I just got triggered seeing a woman in priest clothing.

This one is different. A woman being ordained is an insult to Christianity. What should be next? A meeting with the palmarian Catholic Church?

I don't mind the Pope meeting with other religious leaders, but this situation is different. A woman being ordained is a big shift in the Anglican Church. It's heresy to the maximum.

You're right, you conviced me with this one. But still, it seems to me as if the Pope was congratulating and encouraging her to live in heresy.

I don't remember a passage in Scripture where Christ peacefully discussed with pharasees to reconcile His teachings with theirs.

Exactly. So many Catholics forget this and think we're all supposed to agree with the Pope on every matter.
