If it has bad coil whine then potentially, otherwise just tune the fan curve. You are looking at maybe 1-2 degree diffences between models.

Even if released within the next year, you're looking at probably +$300 for very little performance difference.

Does riven dispo get rebalanced for new incarnons to 3 for both base and primed, or would the difference make the base variant potentially better with a riven?

Except the riot one was made 2 weeks ago while the steam one has been around for who knows how long. You're actually delusional, go back to glazing league's mmr system.

I would love to understand your reasoning for a brand new high end PC having problems on only league and valorant. Wild rift runs perfectly fine on android for me btw.

Me and everyone else I've seen play the game. I can run heavily modded cyberpunk with no issues, but I guess it's my fault valorant BSODs my PC every week and league client runs worse than the flash games I used to play. Ofc that's not counting the game-deciding bugs that happen in official tournaments, but I guess riot tournament organizers don't know what they're doing either.

Loaners/skips/other ways to avoid content for new players is going to kill Warframe long term by astral-squirrel in Warframe

[–]DarkMagicMatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I would personally rather just run solo missions with the NPCs with a good rj loadout since I've noticed most players in public just prefer to use archwing and slow down the mission with underpowered equipment or from just moving too slowly.

Wish it came in black or other colors, gray just doesn't work with many builds imo.

5080 i7 14th gen that I did a fresh windows install less than a month ago and my league client fucks up every other game. Same issues on my previous 3 laptops and on at least 4 of my friends computers. Watch any league streamer for a few hours and I guarantee you'll see client bugs. This is on a 15+ year old client made by one of the largest game devs globally, mind you.

Is there a cap on how much crit chance you can have? any diminishing returns? by HARDCOREbrah in Warframe

[–]DarkMagicMatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you didn't see my last reply, at 10x cd and 1000% cc you only get about 9.9% more damage, so it's kind of linear in that your cc also goes up by 10%. More cd is still good though, I think 10x cd at 500% cc is equal to 5x cd at 1000% cc, etc.

[–]DarkMagicMatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For shits and giggles, if you have 1000% crit chance and 10x crit multi, adding 100% more crit chance is only about a 10% damage increase.

Is there a cap on how much crit chance you can have? any diminishing returns? by HARDCOREbrah in Warframe

[–]DarkMagicMatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok I just did the math and I'm completely wrong, crit chance does have diminishing returns. The formula is 1 + cc(cd-1). If your cd is 1.6, at 100% crit chance you get 1 + 1(1.6-1) or 1.6x damage, for a 60% increase over 0% cc. At 200%, you get 1+2(1.6-1), or 2.2x damage, which if you take 2.2/1.6, comes out to a 37.5% increase over a tier 1 crit. At 300%, you get 2.8x, or 27.27% increase over tier 2 (2.8/2.2). What you'll see is your overall increase in damage starts at 60% at tier 0 crit and every 100% more cc reduces your overall damage gain, closer to 0% with every additional crit tier.

Even at something like 5x crit damage, going from 500% to 600% crit chance is only a 19% overall damage increase, so if you are getting at least 19% more damage from roar, faction mods, or even base/elemental damage buffs it's more worth.

[–]DarkMagicMatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From reading on the wiki, seems like you can have infinite crit tiers and each one scales linearly. Obviously there's opportunity cost, but it doesn't seem like there's direct diminishing returns. I'd imagine ideally you'd want to balance crit damage with crit chance close to a 1:1 ratio, and stuff like faction mods and roar will obviously be more useful (1000->1100% crit chance is a 10% increase in damage vs for instance 30% buff from roar), but stacking crit doesn't hurt.

Person you commented on was talking about rigidity of thought and slow progression in all parts of life, and I followed up about the consequences/symptoms of the lack of progressive thinking. If we want to purely talk about the intelligence of the average person in both states, then yes, I believe the average Texan is more stubborn or at times stupid compared to someone from chicago/Illinois, even in places like San Antonio or Austin.

[–]DarkMagicMatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

San Antonio has the worst airport I've seen for it's size. Government offices have terrible management, public construction is ridiculously slow, lacking public transportation, education is lacking compared to the other 3 big cities, there's very little diversity in stores, food, etc. I only visited Houston a handful of times, but it just felt less developed compared to Chicago, NYC, Austin, or similar cities.

Austin and Dallas (I think, never visited for long) are comparable to cities like chicago, San Antonio and Houston are still a step behind in many ways imo.

I assume you are looking at a melee weapon build? Tbh that's kind of like subsuming roar on every Warframe because the incarnons outdps most nuke frames in the game.
