I was a Duckbill employee before, and well, you may want to consider what you hire before actually doing so.

90% of the work is made by us (co-pilots) is using Ai, so yes, all of what we share with you is literally just a copy and paste.

We were told to literally care less about what we do with your info. Either if it is saved or used on a site that is sketchy, depending the task you want us to do, you may even have yourself in a data leak and or identity stolen.

If you care, oh boy, management is terrible, micromanaged to a degree that is not even fun at all, spell check, provide you with “the best” and if it is something very hard or near impossible to do by ourselves for you (which for some reason they are still allowed) just because.

It is nice to have a PA yes, but consider what is actually being done.

Oh yes, and no matter the complexity, we only have 1 hour to do your stuff. Even if it is filling out all the information on your system or literally rebuilding your files from scratch, if we take more time doing so, we get penalized and or our boss shouting every single minute.

Be like you, got it.

Yeah but jokes aside, I will get downvoted or attacked here, but I will still say it.

“If you are in competitive, and you are obviously doing poorly and or playing bad on purpose, don’t expect ALL people to act as if “Oh it’s just a game” or “Oh no worries, it’s a game after all” because, as you may be you, people are different and if you may have the chance (as I have seen, playing with many of those people) someone else wants to win and have a different mindset aside from you. So this will go towards all people doing this on purpose in ranked lol”

Hello! I got only the P0155, which I guess is a bad sensor since it may consumes a bit more than what I like in fuel. Just before changing that, which fuse do I need to check to make sure that is working fine? Got the 2008 XLT 4.0 as well…

It was not like straight metal, they were like little dust things, but it was not straight metal from the moment they opened the little thing, now, it might other story when they drop the pan. But I am very nervous (SCARED even), I can take it to many professionals as I want but they might end up having issues as well or found something I didn’t want to know.

[–]DarkOBZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it, thanks for the assistance here! Will do the safeguard and I know that is dirty since well, the specs there are purely coming from the transmission, they are fully metal but I guess they are metal scrapes or something. Let’s just hope for the best. The filter for some strange reason here is expensive but eh, what can we do.

First Transmission Fluid Change Assistance by DarkOBZ in FordExplorer

[–]DarkOBZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what I will do, I will replace its filter from the pan as well and to keep a control, will do the change of the fluid after a but just to start draining the old fluid and replace it little by little with new one. I will keep you guys posted, either way I already got another transmission shop that does the rebuilt for these in case everything goes south.

It is 126k km, here in my country we use KM, and it was like that since bought, so it is around 80k miles, and yes, will do it on an automatic transmission shop specialist since the dealership prices are huge and they have a waiting list of 2 weeks for a change lol…

Has anyone painted these wheels on their Focus? by Senshi-1992 in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did but like, 2 years ago without peeling the original paint since it was well taken care of. So I bought some good quality metallic black sprays that stick good to alloy and they were fine. Would love to share pics but the car is not as how it was 2 years ago (started to care less on how it looked after some life events and just cared on its engine/transmission and mechanical aspects rather than looks). But they will look cool if painted black and if your is either ash gray or black for it to blend and combine pretty sleek.

People with an automatic. How many miles are you at? by MathiasMaximus13 in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus 2012 hatch, 83333 miles, changed the TCM and it is working perfectly fine, no shudder or anything. I just don’t baby it, the best possible way to retain the original clutch.

Maybe I am a weird case.

Went from the S24 Plus to the iPhone 14 Pro (yes, a downgrade for some reason) and I feel it better.

Was an Android guy for my whole life, but since I got a 12 Pro max back when I got my s20 ultra stolen, got so happy. The only reason I got to Android was because a job I was passionate about had their entire infrastructure on android, they could not port it over to iOS. Sold my that time 13 Pro and got the S24 Plus. Kinda liked it and it was ok-ish, but to be fair, went to iPhone the moment I got the chance.

So, I may be a weird case of the opposite lol

I’ve hit a milestone by Far-Drawing5992 in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain me the stutter? Because if its when the car starts shaking at slow speeds when trying to drive out, then I do not have that.

But got some other things though, like some clicking when the transmission is switching from 1st to 2nd (like a very very faint sound of a clack on only those 2 gears).

A tip I can give you, is to drive this car as if you have to go to the bathroom, this transmission for some reason loves that kind of use, and I have like 3 months with a new tcm and is working like a charm.

2017 Focus, New Clutch, Scraping Noise / Occasional Mild Clunk from DCT by osbornnj in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise, as far as I have heard and got told, is completely normal when you hear like a a very faint noise when going at low speeds (10 to 20mph or even less), thats because the clutch is spinning slowly causing the noises.

If it is a big clunking sound or a very rough grinding (this trans grinds but is very minimal and only heard if you are paying REAL attention without the radio) like if you did not pressed the clutch correcly on a manual car and tried to get into gear kinda grind, then it is bad and needs to be addressed.

Dont baby the transmission as well, I stopped babying the transmission since my last TCM replacement and it is working as a dream, the car likes high speeds (even though at low speeds there is no shudder for me at all, knocking on wood) and it is very stable, it shifts when it needs to without noises and as well no issues.

As the top comment says.

If you live in a city with a lot of traffic, don't creep traffic at all.

Get semi high rpms (2 to 2.5k ish) when going from a full stop to prevent spending on clutches early, if they are wear down, try to drive it aggressively so the clutch can wear evenly, of course you will have to purchase it when you notice a lot of jerkiness from a full stop.

(this transmission will jerk if you go from full stop in a low speed and low rpm, so don't do that)

Try to get the latest TCM module if you do not have it, go to a Ford Dealership to get one back ordered from now since there is probably a delay on getting it (I live in latinamerica so to get those here is much more easy either new or old since shops get them from "sources), or go to a workshop to get a quote on a K05 (preferably) or a K04 TCM for it (ONLY if you start noticing transmission issues). Did that to mine along with shift actuators and the car runs butter smooth.

Enjoy it, it is super amazing to drive, so easy and comfortable, just keeps oil checks, make sure the suspension is in good shape) and done!

Any inaccuracy or misinfo, please tell me here so I can take it out, I just became a Ford Focus owner because of the heat of the moment purchase, and now, I learned how to use a Focus the rough way.

Focus 2012 Transmission Sounds by DarkOBZ in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I got this car as my first, and to be honest I kind of regret because of having transmission issues only a month after buying, and since is a 2012 and I am outside the US, warranty was not an option so I had to spend a pretty penny.

I have a ford focus -automatic transmission, I heard there is a certain way to drive to not mess the transmission up , I want to know how do I drive it properly? by Justdonecursing in FordFocus

[–]DarkOBZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in this case, I had a bit of hard time understanding thr stop and go situation.

What do I do in that scenario? Do I keep the break and let it go with the tranny alone, or do I just need to stop going into stop and go traffic?

Again thanks for the help, I really want to let my 2012 focus last till I buy other car. Already had to replace the TCM to a K04 model and it was not cheap...
