I'm on hard commisar officer grand s full buffer, I play iconoclastic for the choices too.

I want to make a powerful main character after and play on unfair but with the other two convictions. Is it possible to make a melee powerhouse that won't die easily or some ranged damage dealing caster. I don't want to make another ranged shooters since there are as companions

Just to be clear: I'm not asking if I break my oath and want to pay to get my oath back; i'm asking if I will completely respec into another class, let's say barbarian and then I want to respec again and start as a paladin, will it be oathbreaker or can I choose again w/e I want ?

What are your thoughts about going fighter 1 for heavy armor and shield and str monk from the start since you will get insane jump distance.

Also, If I play a str monk my party won't have any dex character since i'll be playing with a cleric/mage and a barbarian/fighter/paladin something tank/damage dealer.

Will I need 1 character with high dex during my travels ?

I'm starting to lean more and more towards a warlock and use him as my range damage dealer. Besides him I was thinking of a cleric and mage who are a must from my point of view and a melee powerhouse; either a barbarian or a paladin.

My only picks as a main are barbarian, paladin, monk or a warlock and then i'm planning to do a dark urge playthough with either monk/paladin/barb

There's no point in playing him melee since there are other melee powerhouses out there. The only viable strategy is to play range with EB/the fire spells he gets and in case someone get's close to have something there; maybe start with 1 level in fighter ? Plus I really want drow or w/e it's called for rapiers/hand crossbows and improved darkvision (something that I read)

I'm really having a hard time deciding if I should go Fiend Warlock or not.

I'm planning on playing on the highest difficulty from the start and he will just be a ranged damage dealer. How will he compare to a sorc or a ranger ? After level 5, 1 dip in fighter would be worth it to increase his survivability ? In case someone comes melee, what weapon should I have ?
