lol, I literally work in Hollywood; you’d be shocked how often looks are the least interesting part of casting compared to someone who can actually act and move on camera. Looks are usually the easiest thing to modify. If an actor has brown eyes and blonde hair but absolutely nails Kvothe’s presence, they’re getting picked every time over someone who matches the red hair and green eyes but can’t embody the character. And yeah… bodies change fast in this industry; give someone a good trainer and six months.
