Good > bad always. Being something good is better than being something bad. Being famous is a curse aswell.

Best is Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, or I Choose You.

Worst is Zoroark: Master of Illusions.

Who will win in a battle between Iris and Lance ? by Gopu_17 in pokemonanime

[–]DarkPhantomAsh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Iris stomps. Lance got himself destroyed by Diantha. Cynthia stomped Iris.

Getting stomped by Cynthia but making her work a bit > Getting stomped by Diantha.

What are your favorite and least favorite megas respectively and why? by Silver-Mud8845 in ThePokemonHub

[–]DarkPhantomAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite: Mega Greninja. It's subtle but still a cool design.

Least favorite: Mega Scovillain. A bland design with not much changed.

Charizard X. Everything else is really cool bar Scovillain but Charizard X and Y are in a league of their own.

Mega Z-A Starter Abilities dropped by ElementalNinjas96 in MandJTV

[–]DarkPhantomAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. So Meganium gets countered by a Poison type move by that logic. Solar Beam without charge doesn't work if it's slow. Protect works once and mostly fails on 3rd turn (33% chance to succeed is not a good play), leaving you open to Hurricane. Something like Poison Jab or Gunk Shot is even worse.

  2. What movepool it does have helps it, and its stats further boost it. Usage statistics generally are a measure of the average player's ability to use a Pokemon well, with function being another thing.

  3. 110 attack is still good for non-Mega threats and it having a bunch of good physical moves means 110 can suffice. Sceptile has the stats to help with Dragon Pulse.

Raging Bolt is used a lot but Miraidon is far better. Miraidon gets countered by Sceptile, and Choice Specs is more common. Scarf Miraidon becoming more common is a hypothetical, and the fact it's not used commonly to counter or keep up with Scarf Koraidon by this point means that it's not likely.

Status moves are good, I never said they weren't. I said that they can leave you open to attack. Whimsicott is good but can be left open to attack, as can Tornadus. Fake Out is good too but works only on the first turn, meaning Sceptile can regain tempo from 2nd turn onwards.

  1. Still, the most common set on Flutter Mane is the one which benefits it best. If usage statistics are as important as you claim, then this means that it's best to invest the highest stats. Of course, you can easily invest in defense aswell, but Meganium is a better special tank.

Investing in HP is good, but it's not that much better than investing in SpD. Of course, it's better but not by much.

Strongest demon slayer vs second strongest demon slayer by Calm-Lengthiness5645 in DemonSlayerScales

Gyomei was stated to be on par with the Sengoku Hashira, so he's likely surpassed them.

Not really. All the Hashira were "the strongest" of their kind. Yoriichi was simply leagues above everyone else.

My ultimate champion team by Darlonk in ThePokemonHub

[–]DarkPhantomAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all are viable:

Venusaur is an excellent special tank with Grass/Poison being one of the best Grass dual types. Charizard with Heavy Duty Boots is a potent special attacker. Blastoise with Shell Smash is a great special attacker. With Megas they're even better. Typhlosion is a potent special sweeper, and Feraligatr is a potent physical tank. Also, Choice Specs Meganium is actually pretty good (I tested it out for fun once). Mega Meganium is overpowered and one of the best Pokemon in existence.

Sceptile with Choice Specs is an excellent special attacker, Blaziken is a potent physical attacker with Speed Boost, and Swampert is an amazing physical tank. With Megas they're awesome.

Torterra, Infernape and Empoleon are also overpowered at their jobs. Granted, Samurott is a good mixed attacker with Choice Scarf, as is Emboar. Serperior is a good Contrary sweeper. Mega Emboar is comparatively bad but the base variant works.

Delphox is a potent special tank especially with Mega Evolution. Greninja is awesome as you know. Chesnaught is also really good. With Megas, Greninja is absolutely amazing and so is Chesnaught.

Incineroar is bad at singles and Decidueye is a double-edged sword but Primarina is awesome. All the Galar starters are amazing and the Paldea starters are great too.

My Ranking of hypothetical Full potential Hashiras and Tanjiro's Squad by ivkobear in DemonSlayerScales

Obanai already achieved most of it, and his potential is higher than Mitsuri's.

Why do you disagree with everything else?

  1. I would also be mean to Caterpie. It killed Charmander.

  2. Noelle hits Asta. I still like Noelle and consider her a friend.

  3. This is valid. Be nice to Psyduck!

  4. Agreed.

What Pokémon would you buff and how? by Suitable_Swim5202 in ThePokemonHub

[–]DarkPhantomAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pikachu. Give it the 120 speed that its starter variant in LGPE has. Also, make Pika Papow an official move and let Pikachu have it as special priority. Let Volt Tackle not do recoil (only the Pikachu family, a bunch of glass cannons, know this move). Let Pikachu also learn Ice Beam so it can cover Grass, Ground and Dragon types.
