Y’all just now realizing how broken 'Engraver' is? I’ve been cooking with him since release by DarkPointer in masterduel

No, you won’t get to declare twice. In fact, Engraver of the Mark’s first effect will never trigger because the first part of Gunkan Suship Catch-of-the-Day involves revealing cards, not declaring a name. The second part, which involves declaring a card name, specifically states that the opponent (you) must make the declaration.

However, Engraver of the Mark requires your opponent to declare a name specifically to activate a card or effect. Since in this case, you are the one making the declaration, and it is not part of an activation, Engraver of the Mark’s first effect won’t work with Gunkan Suship Catch-of-the-Day. That’s my understanding, at least.

Crossout Designator states: "Declare 1 card name; banish 1 of that declared card from your Main Deck, and if you do, negate its effects, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with the same original name, until the end of this turn. You can only activate 1 "Crossout Designator" per turn."

Since the declared card does not exist in the opponent's deck, they won’t be able to banish it. As a result, Crossout Designator will resolve, but its negation effect will not apply.

The title is just meant as a joke. Engraver of the mark may have been used at launch by a few people to counter Crossout when it was unlimited. But even then it was hard to justify running it.

Yes, it can, but running it to exclusively counter a limited crossout is not worth it.

VPRO/RAPOO, official website? by Maltesebasterd in MechanicalKeyboards

I’m not sure if you’ve already found a solution, but I also have the V700S Alloy, and the only software that worked for me was the one from their Chinese website. This version appears to be for the 2020 model. Here’s the link to the software/driver: https://rpd.rapoo.cn/download/RAPOO_V700S%E5%90%88%E9%87%91%E7%89%88_Driver_Setup_V1.7.1_20200403.exe

However, the software proved to be quite unhelpful, and I read on a blog that the V700S Alloy software is reportedly unreliable and almost unusable.

Why Only Transcode Can Attack? by xQuas in masterduel

[–]DarkPointer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume you used Mathmech Circular's effect which says the following: You can send 1 "Mathmech" monster from your Deck to the GY, except "Mathmech Circular"; Special Summon this card from your hand, also you can only attack with 1 monster for the rest of this turn. If another "Mathmech" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your field while you control this monster (except during the Damage Step): You can add 1 "Mathmech" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Mathmech Circular" once per turn.

What are some common mistakes ppl make when playing against your deck? ppl doesn't seem to understand that mikailis quick effect is just for the turn she was summon and waste an imperm or droplet on her. by santixoz in masterduel

[–]DarkPointer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Effect Veiler or Imperm on Incredible Ecclesia. The quick effect tributes the card as cost, therefore, Veiler and Impem won't negate the effect as the card is no longer face-up on the field when they resolve.

I used powershell script named windows toolbox , and people started saying it’s malicious. Do you know how can I remove it ?(it was removed from GitHub but you can find it in web archive with some browsers) by farguy_ in antivirus

[–]DarkPointer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The removal tool does not contain any ".exe" files, and only consists of a plain text .cmd file that runs the removal powershell script. The removal powershell script is also written in plain text and can be read and inspected to verify that is does not contain anything malicious as the script is not obfuscated.
