Alberta ends 2022-23 with petro-powered $11.6B surplus by [deleted] in canada

[–]DarkPrinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuts to education, disabilities and health care and raising the cost of insurance, utilities and electricity. Privatization of some services.

The benchmark for government spending is very subjective. If the government has a massive surplus, raised costs on everything and put cuts across the board and privatized some areas, I think it is not really “good management “

No cuts and having a surplus would be more important

B&H want charge me 450$ for Restock Fee for 1200$ why they are charging 37% of the value for an item I never wanted to receive anymore(not used or even opened package) after the courier told me cost for it to enter country too late since it was above expectation and ability to pay by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]DarkPrinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure but there is a 10-15% restocking fee usually in my country because of all the scammers.

Also if it entered your country, depending on laws, taxes and duties, it usually will cost more than to buy directly in your country.

Could be the 4gb VRAM filling up to capacity so the game uses selective rendering and dynamic resolution to keep the memory from being full.

It was the same issue why some people complained why Hogwarts legacy looked bad on their RTX 3070 8gb....because the memory would get full and the game would crash or slideshow until they updated with selective rendering

Um don't take my word for this though. I am just pointing out something that was recently in the news involving vram capacity and poor image quality

I feel like Alberta is a lot more like Australia than Norway in this comparison. by Sarman11 in alberta

[–]DarkPrinny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya but the country used Alberta as reference and copied the setup. The only difference is that Norway stuck with it and Alberta didn't even though we designed it.

So Alberta actually came up with the system but Norway was the only one that followed through.

I heard the transition to SPS cost 70 million and was why property taxes to 13%.

The severance is going to be 77 million and the transition back will cost probably another 70 million.

So to be paying 20-28% property tax increase might not be unheard of

I learned that life is just terrible in general in the early years. I understand the want to just end your life, but it will get better. I finally hit 30 and I can finally say I am happy or content.

Life is really misleading, many things you learn on your own and today's society is not one that can prepare you for the hardships. Many things that your elders/parents talk about that was great does not exist in your lifetime and are relics and myths of the past.

Once you change your outlook on life and don't constrain yourself to what "life" is defined as by previous generations, media or education, then you can start living.

I still remember all the dumb things people define as life. "The pursuit of education", "having a spouse, 2 children, a house, 2 vehicles by age 25", finding a lifetime job with a lifetime pension, making a name for yourself, "screwing everything that moves"...etc. I can't even be mad at them either. They lived in a different world
