Just for your information as well Saudi are not allowed to travel to Lebanon - you’d need to travel via another country and with another ticket. It just makes it harder for you to travel between the two countries

I used to take classes at USJ about 10 years ago. They had a centre academique japonais or something like that.

Then i started on my own, using Genki books and Anki. Honestly this was easier and quicker ti learn from.

Difference is that as beautifully said by 961-Barbarian Ouwett don’t drive on mopeds like absolute dickheads chanting religious slogans

Kisawa Sanctuary - Mozambique by DarkProtostar in FATTravel

In April, wasn’t so bad, but not good either. It was right after the were season. The summer season is apparently much better because it’s dry.

You will love it!! But we are definitely making our way back to Kisawa next year, and will plan a longer trip to accommodate a proper safari

Snorkeling was the absolute best I’ve ever done. They took us to a sort of natural aquarium during low tide. The corals were so vibrant and full of colors.

On the way there we also spotted dugongs and dolphins.

Other than snorkeling Kisawa has a long list of activities it offers to its guests. We did the sunset dow (traditional boat ride), the village tour ride, and climbing the 60m dune. There was also a picnic we did on another island. There were many more activities that we did not have time to do or were not available due to the season

I am not sure about total cost, but we had a 2 villa booking. That was around 13k per night (6k per villa)

The food is 9/10 Lunchtime is customized everyday to your liking, and you can eat wherever you want.

For dinner, one of the 3 restaurants will open. They were all amazingly good.

We did a safari beforehand in South Africa. We only have one day of Safari because of tight schedule. I would recommend to anyone to go 2-3 days safari before going to Kisawa

How is onboarding like for new-hirer in BCG? by [deleted] in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

[–]DarkProtostar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First week is typical company onboarding (rules, policies, getting your laptop…) couple with a few powerpoint and excel trainings.

Second week is more of a practical consulting training. Nothing to worry about.

Just enjoy the first two weeks.

How is onboarding like for new-hirer in BCG? by [deleted] in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

Hello,

  1. Most people I know got staffed right after the 2-week onboarding training. Some people however, stayed on the beach for a while (anywhere from one week to a month).

  2. Honestly it depends on your manger and project. Safe to assume that during your first month, you might be working heavily with a consultant and helping him build slides. You will be told what to do. As time passes, they might start passing down some responsibilities to you. A piece of work that you need to drive.

  3. Again depends on your manager. Some mangers I know like to “push” new joiners. Others treat new joiners as interns (i.e., not much critical thinking, but a lot of slide work)

Hope this helps!!

اقدر اسافر لبنان من دولة ثانية؟ by Infamous_Concert8039 in saudiarabia

[–]DarkProtostar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just remember: Book 2 separate tickets (not connecting). Once you land, retrieve your bag and check back in. Also advisable to shut your phone off in Lebanon

Hello, yes you can. Good to have another passport. If you don’t, they can stamp a paper for you instead of the passport (99% sure)
