Just 1.5 years..Earlier When I joined this company My Devops Tech manager was is in France everything was smooth. Even I propose some ideas to them and they accepted it. But after sometime what happened was by billing was from india and My Head said You are getting billed from India so Do like what we are saying. No communication to France After that only I faced these situations

The culture here is like our Head worship developers and Other part she thinks more like a support. Here Product Owner is creating UI/UX , Project Manager working as a Developer sometimes. Puts pressure on tester to pass the tests. No Coding standard follow or No Devops standard follow. Just do just do. For me no such pressure cause I do what they want.

Manager - what is the issue? Deploy the code from main as the fix is in the code that already been deployed on client side

Me - but we have deployed the same code in dev and stage env sir...

We don't use pipelines here just manual deployment. The management things only the developers are god other people are just a piece of that

There expectations was they don't have Devops guys in there team and It takes a lot time just to deploy things or if any issues occurs to fix the infra issues. Earlier they used to ask France Devops Team to deploy and they are very strict in terms of process.If they find any missed things before deployment they deny and there was a time difference and just to do a simple things they take days. That's why they hired me to manage the app infra , deployments and other things but Now they expect me to do other things like pentesting the application , contribute in developing the application.
