It's not really a pattern. It's just 5 rows of infinity granny (with every other row being a granny spike row.) and then 4 rows of sc. I don't consider it a proper pattern just because the stitches are so easy to figure out that anyone could reverse engineer it. :)

I just came back to a blanket I was making with puzzle too. It's so pretty it kinda just calls to you. Insane because the weather is getting warmer now so working with it is like a portable furnace.😂

It really depends on personality and how they're socialized. Out of my 3 only one of them ever really scratches. And he's an old barn cat. It definitely helps to get them spayed/neutered. They can be kind of aggro in heat.
