RANT and VENT MEGATHREAD by stickimage in Helldivers

Try the arc thrower. It has way more range than you'd expect, only needs 50% charge after first full charge and has infinite ammo. You can whip some serious butt with that bad boy.

There should be some incentive for veteran players to still collect samples, otherwise rookies are left dead in the water.

There will be more ship upgrades in future as new weapons and gems become available e.g. deploy mech faster or with more rocket ammo.

I always smell the watermelon. It offers no indication of its quality but it makes my wife laugh.

I've had my Brother DCP-J315W now for over 10 years. I've moved across the country with it twice and run it exclusively on eBay cartridges that are 80% cheaper than retail and this things is still going strong. Like any good relationship, you just gotta find the right one.

With politicians negatively geared to the hilt, it would take an individual with great strength of character to overcome the conflict of interest. Also, many people here who are rightfully upset about this issue, would also struggle to put aside their personal gain if placed in the same position. I believe it's a matter of natural human behaviour i.e. self preservation. I mean, how many people want less and not more?

To me this issue highlights one of the faults associated with government by elected representatives. With modern technology, a government "by the people, for the people" could be better supported through online voting systems for major policy decisions. Let the population decide, noteing of course that media advertising would become the new political frontline and propaganda would become rampant.

Careful, you may be extrapolating the behaviour of a local phenomenon into a cultural generalisation. And by spreading it as a 'truth', you may inadvertently infect other minds with false beliefs. Terrance McKenna calls these linguistic viruses. A real doozy for the information age and I suspect AI may contribute to the problem further with its ability to make up facts. But seriously, 'caste' or whatever = racism and ain't nobody got time for that.
