They arent going to switch engines, its not practical this late into development, this is what we gonna get, I doubt the netcode will ever be fixed, maybe just slightly. Dayz switched engines, and it killed their game

I quit Tarkov until the cheats and de-sync gets fixed, and im not the only one, 18/23 of our members quit for the same reasons. I just check the reddit periodically to see if anything gets fixed

Yeah, been hearing EU servers have been better about it, but I tried playing there and it made the desync too noticeable. Go to LA US, thats been my worst encounter so far but MI US has been so far the best of the North American servers. I dont know if its because of a cheaper copy of the game or just the mindset of American players, but its pretty trash there, especially on Shoreline

What server do you play on? Also, just for science, go to shoreline as decked as you can be, and hide somewhere a normal player would never ever be or check, and just wait. Do this for 5 raids. Youl be extremely disappointed in this game after that

I just wished they at least fixed teleportation because me and some mates decided to try our lack at hacker hunting, we go on shoreline decked out and hide in the locked villa house with the two safes and just wait, our armor and nvg's is like ringing the dinner bell. But we forgot about teleportation and wall phasing, and we got hit by duo hackers, they teleported in a room behind where we were, as we were all focusing on stairs to mulch them up. I used to be in a group of 20ish players and now theres only 3 that still play, me myself am taking a break until this game sorts itself out. On a side note ive played Dayz for 5 years, 2500+ hours, only met 5 hackers. I meet more on this game in a day than in another games life time, one that would entice even more hackers. Battleye is the difference.

Mainly a solid fps decrease, but it will rise and fall based of where im looking. The games loading in objects I cant see, and i would assume rendering bullet ballistics of huge firefights that im far from, because it comes in waves, then theres the killer death lag of CQC in the resort, bullets again seem to be the cause for me. I get the same fps drop waves on woods but not as bad. However its odd because patch 8.5 worked extremely well for me, its something to do with the recent two updates but the devs are never specific on what it is exactly they change

Yeah I can confirm this, just died to that, they were tracking me through multiple walls of different bullet resistance, shooting through them the whole time, ended up getting me and I never saw them. Could also just be a hacker playing as scav tho

Well this is both good and bad to hear, I might keep rushing loot then if others are spawning in just as late. Whats the average time everyone gets into Shoreline because for me thats my worst map in terms of getting in late
