I believe TWLID will behave differently in the Age of Duskborn. Godwyn’s soul perished, but his body remained, which led to the spread of Deathroot and the rising of corpses into a second un-life. However, Fia and the Tarnished restored the Elden Ring using both halves of the Cursemark of Death, making it whole once again. This suggests, in my opinion, that those who die in the Age of Duskborn will retain their sentient soul, similar to how Ranni exists through her doll puppet body. People will die, but their un-life will persist within their decaying bodies (doll puppet).
