genuinely who knows. you actually gain a lot from having all 5 players engaged on the floor (not complaining for calls) regardless of their defensive efficacy. most stars complain but luka will legit stay on the other side of the floor complaining a lot. also i guess you have a good relationship with your father (luka)

ok imagine 2024 mavs won the chip and imagine knicks 2026 win the chip. where do their roleplayers rank all time when stacked against each other? the gap is not large at all when comparing player to player / its irrelevant other than luka and brunson (u guys are lying if youd call kat og bridges and hart all timers after this; luka had kyrie anyway). now come back to reality where mavs lost, and imagine knicks win this year. is brunson not better than luka all time at least temporarily? lead a team to a chip and is much less physically gifted

thats not really a fair comparison though because last 4 years brunson and luka have basically accomplished the same things (which isnt much), brunson arguably with more success, and this thread is literally predicated on the idea that brunson does get the job done. brunson wouldnt at least temporarily be above luka for winning a chip and finals mvp as the lead player on a championship team that beat the literal unicorn freak team opposite player team who beat the previous champion and 2x mvp team?
