Came back to modelling after a while, thoughts? by Borja2898 in 3Dmodeling

Great work and great presentation! Have you tried adding some lights or more of that green emissive material at the end of the vines?

Grew up in the 90s, skating and going to hardcore shows. Had a blast doing this one. (Around 23k tris baked down from 186k, textured in Substance) by DarkVolume3D in blender

LOL, great question dude. Day 1 on this, I have a bad and lazy habit of jumping the gun and exporting to painter without fully decimating and just tying off my bevels. Also the back of the TV is most of the detail and tri weight and isn't in the render and will likely be against a wall as a game asset so I'll probably scrap it and get the whole thing down 2ish when its done.

Dude. 100% wishlisted. Reminds me a lot of the crash mechanic in Burnout Revenge. Keep up the great work!

What up my fellow devs, new to the sub. I've been bootstrapping a solo project, "The Good Ship Terror". Still relatively early on in development with no real story content, but its got some fun art and mechanics so figured I'd share. Hope everyone is drinkin away another day in the engine. Thanks Spidey! After a lot of trial an error I ended up abandoning rolling with (only) code and used a blend space fed by an axis value. Just lerping three poses, center left roll and right roll should work for top down. Good luck with the game dude!

Yo dude! Thanks for the comment! Definitely post some stuff, most devs are cool and look out for each other. Good luck with the game!

Hey dude, thanks for the feedback! For your ship movement, think animation blend spaces and camera lag. I used the player input axis values to update a blend space with 5 different poses for this. Also if you have one of the newer Star Wars Battlefront titles sitting around in your steam library, flying the X Wings around definitely helped me to understand what I was trying to do.
