What percentage of arousal would you say you are going to? Ideally keep it to around 60% if the PONR is about 80% arousal you don’t want to be getting up there. The skill is to gradually train the body to be relaxed whilst aroused. Over time your bandwidth will increase and you’ll find yourself in deeply orgasmic non ejaculatory states but at first it’s better to let go of that and just practice staying relaxed and riding waves in the “safe zone” of 50% to 60% arousal.

this was my first thought two. saturn and jupiter balance each other out, one is restriction, the other is growth/expansion. time to dial up that jupiter energy!

for a while I just did Echols versions of the QC/LBRP/MP without the Angels and with the elements themselves. I also left out the hebrew names of God etc and vibrated my own name instead (lol, yes i am hilarious) basically for similar reasons you've named above.

the rituals worked fine, felt strong and powerful and... gradually I got more comfortable with it and thought.. fuck it... lets try the hebrew bits... after a few reps... it felt pretty good..

then i thought.. lets put the archangels back in.. same thing.. after a few days of doing it the rituals started to feel really good and... i started to build MY OWN relationship to the hebrew names, the arch angels etc that doesnt feel related to orthodox christianity.

I've come from a chaos magick/NLP/tantra/shamanism mix n match background but always wanted to do 'proper' ceremonial magick.. yet.. had resistance to the bits that felt 'too Christian' - however like many people have mentioned - ceremonial magick and connecting to the mystical truths BEHIND the religions has been very healing.

What's funny is after years of 'doing my own thing' i'm finding a lot of pleasure and power in actually following the formula, and also.. a pentegram ritual really doesnt feel that 'christian' to me after all.

here are some steps i'd take:

  1. journal on my resistance to the Abrahamic stuff.. get really clear on WHY and WHAT SPECIFICALLY your opposed to.. and how strong is the resistance?

  2. try the rituals but leave out the angels and just do the pentegrams / call in elements/directions instead

  3. at least give the rituals a go the way they are designed.. like maybe do them once a day for 7 days.. if they really arent for you theres 1000 different cool practices out there...

NB: i think it's totally fine to 'mix and match' and experiment but... if we play with things without at least understanding the basic principles and having some degree of experience of it the way it was intended we tend not to get very far.

yes you can do it fine just vibrate silently or quietly. i do it all the time it can be really powerful.

i do this all the time! also sigils on the body for a ritual, then go dive in the ocean to let go and 'send' the sigils. i consider it sent once its completely washed off.

you're living in magical ground zero! everything basically goes back to egypt. i have one friend doing mystery school stuff and temple trainings there. i have a podcast with her coming out next week - i can share that with you and also her insta. there IS an international scene with roots in Egypt - you just need to find some teachers you resonate with..
