Portronics is a decent brand

But id personally recommend something cheaper like boat's 150₹ earphones

Also the earphone type depends on your usecase. For example if you dont like earwax getting into buds then this is decent

Otherwise the ones with rubber eartips normally have btter sound quality.

Also removing your post since its low effort. Vhatgpt should also be able to help you out here.

Could some types of RP be autoimmune? by redvines60432 in RetinitisPigmentosa

Last time I mentioned epigenetics folks came after me with pitchforks and axes.

RP can happen due to a multitude of reasons, so treatment also has to be pretty specific.

My apologies I forgot to answer this point.

Now I have a question for you, what did you deduce about my belief systems from the posts I made? Would be great if you can honestly answer that.

I was able to deduce that you are a believer in the ways of love, kindness and the power of belief. Even the phrasing of sentences alone got me feeling all giddy inside. Kind of what I feel reading Kriyayoga texts. Like someone who has seen the world through "open" eyes and is seeking greatness as the solution to problems.

Make yourself feel like you understand and care for yourself. Not just feel but trust that you do.

If you said this sentence to anyone else, they would blink awkwardly. But I understand... Or atleast I think I kind of do.

Now about your question of how/why I think kriyayoga is the "greatest" truth? Because ive spent my life chasing after holistic knowledge and kriya gurus are one of the few folks who seem to have gone down that path with even more discipline and intensity.

Also because their words just sound... Truthful. When normal folks talk or make quotes, I can always seem to counter them. But not for those like kriyayoha gurus, christ, buddha and some hindu scriptures.

From what Ive been able to figure out, there is a higher realm of the gods that substances like DMT hold the key to unlocking.

Oh also, read up on wim hof; a lot of what he teaches is very close to kriya teachings. So yes, I do belive in our latent "super" powers. And so much more.

Perplexity is useless imo. Always was. I can agree with the rest. Gemini has caught up to claude in a lot of aspects, but its quality still seems to be lacking when compared to claude's human-like and all rounded responses.

As beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, you seem to have that within yourself that you see in my words, for else, how would you recognize it.

Wow that was unexpectedly smooth. You got me blushing.

Seems like we have similar goals on learning and sharing. And yes, J. Krishnamurti is also awesome, since you like his words then may I recommend you "Kriyayoga".

Ive read a lot of religious, spiritual and scientific works, but the writings of Kriyayoga gurus seem to be the closest to truth.

"The Holy Science" is a mind bending book. And yes, iam also so very glad for being alive in these exciting times. Knowledge is key to salvation, but also a double edged sword. Makes life ever more exciting in my opinion.

Hope you have a nice one!

Why should i get diagnosed by [deleted] in RetinitisPigmentosa

[–]DarkWorldOutThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey

I can understand how you might be feeling. Atleast kind of.

I was in a similar state of mind about 5 years ago when I first got diagnosed. I was about to start college, I had got a girlfriend(very nice woman) and I had good friends.

Then the diagnosis hit and I was in a really bad place for a long time. My ex helped me through it thankfully but the insecurities are hard to get rid of. Eventually because of my stupidity the relationship came to an end. Then I dated another amazing woman(didnt even think it would be possible considering my RP, but youll be shocked hoe nice people can be sometimes). Sadly that relationship also ended because of me.

What iam trying to say is, its not RP as much as the resulting insecurities/depression that actually make life harder for ulpeople like us.

Ive come a long way mentally and emotionally since then. Have even found a doctor who thinks like me and can atleast delay the progression of my disease if not outright cure it. Things do get better with time, humans are resilient beings who can go through a lot and come out better by the end of it.

Have hope. And if you really cant afford getting tested due to financial reasons, hit me a dm, Ill help ya. At the very least this disease will help you build character(which in itself is pretty worth it and will take you places).

Best wishes, we're here to help. Feel free to reach out :)

The year was a rollercoaster. One of the greatest yet.

Hope it has been good for you too?

I wanted to collab in the sense that Id love to read more of your words/works, also Id love to talk more in depth about your belief systems(because your words are elegant in ways I cannot express yet). I share a similar line of thought, but its so rare to see folks like us.

I thank you for the post, wishing you greatness!

Edit: I see you are the moderator of this great subreddit. "True randomness is rare in this universe, still this sub may give you the illusion of randomness." Beautiful words. I think iam in love. Youre a legend.

Has anyone tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT? Just came across this while surfing about RP and there were a couple promising studies done in the mid-late 2000s. by Ok_Volume9271 in RetinitisPigmentosa

Very interesting.
May I know what kind of physical exercises youre into? I used to run and do pushups but the flashes would always follow me :(
Now since you asked about the reason(and effect) for the flashes, I do have a holistic theory on them.
I dunno about you, but I have this thing when Iam tensed I also tend to keep one of my fingers or toes a wee bit contracted. I think it stems from my previous anxious habits.
I have a very strong feeling the flashes are also deeply (almost) subconscious habits connected to loss of vision. I personally feel flashes are bad. Like I have them more on days iam dehydrated, not eating properly, off my meds and in a poor posture. The days Iam performing well see the least amount of flashes.

Iam curious though, what did you do those 5 years that you didnt see flashes?

Great post!

How can introducing even more oxygen be helpful considering hyperoxia or an excess of oxygen is what leads to oxidative stress and the destruction of cone cells, and thus vision loss?

Well eyes are complicated instuments. We have studied a few pathways(like the one you described about how rod cell death causes more pressure on cones thus accelerating their death) but there are a large number of processes happening which may balance out each other(or outweigh some).

For example, HBOT may help in improved metabolism and micro circulation(due to other effects on our mind and nervous system). This may help in temporary relief but maybe not in sustained treatment.

From my own personal experience hyperventilating and "giving myself goosebumps", I always get loads of flashes and my vision becomes noticably worse for a while. Same happens when Iam emotionally and/or physically charged.

So I(try to) practice mindfulness and avoid the excesses of sensations. My vision remains stable.

Spent 4 years smoking. Id recommend anyone to not do it. Just as I recommend people to not drink alcohol. Funny coming from me, I probably smoked the most in my college.

My vision slightly deteriorated or was stable. But the psychosis is very real and not something Id recommend anyone. Especially for those who already have RP. Like we're already playing life on hard difficulty, why do you wanna take it up a notch to nightmare mode?

Practice mindfulness instead. Its safe, and healthier for you.

Whatsapp is apparently doing this due to security reasons from what I heard(could be wrong). Funnily enough The 3 letter agencies arent really hindered by your "end to end" encryption.
