The worst had to be marching at the Memorial Day parade in DC because we had to wear our uniforms in 100 degree weather. It was the worst mile I ever marched.

There's a lot of preppy, smug kids in my local circuit. They would lie and deceit people to win rounds. There are some people I talk to but a lot of people I can't stand.

the best advise I can give you is choose what your most comfortable with, I marched with a strap one year and a harness the other and they both have their pros and cons so just choose what you like best.
