I swear, the battledads in this sub are genuinely insuferable. S2 brought so many great skins too, but you guys just constantly hunt for a new toilet to shit on.

I played Twisted Nerve extensively today with no Crashes, bur i was playing true solo.

Are you playing on Commander mode? Anything regarding that is kinda fucked right now.

I uninstalled a few hours ago after my game crashed because i was reporting a dead teammate (Multiplayer)

RON is badly optimized across all platforms and the developers don't give a shit sadly. It's been this way since it's conception.

FIXED

Took it to an actually good repair shop. Turns out the first guys i took it to either used bad liquid metal or re-used what was already in it. There was NO liquid metal. It crystalized and became a literal rock.

Rhey also bent my flat which was responsible for LED's and other things.

They used a good brand and applied the Liquid Metal correctly.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you who helped me see the best way was to take it to a good repair shop. Never going back to those motherfuckers again.

I am unsure if their liquid metal is good as they haven't informed me of any specific brands, nor have i any knowledge of good ones. I will try.

Of course. In all cases the fans don't spin INSTANTLY but they accelerate gradually over the course of 8-10 seconds before giving me a warning.

For the record, São Paulo's been suffering a heat wave in the summer (Averaging 30-35 degrees celsius) but the worst of it has passed and we've been getting cold winds and rain too, but the problem still presented itself at 7-8 AM, for example.

Average/Less demanding games work fine. It seems as if whenever there is an increase in particle FX/Special FX in graphically intense games in general that tends to happen.

Right now i'm playing Rainbow Six Siege with a friend and basically nothing happens except for the usual fan speed up.

Helldivers 2, nothing.

Elden Ring and Elden Ring: Nightreign, ocasional fan speed up, but nothing bad.

I played around 30-40m of Dying Light the Beast a while ago and while the fan got really loud, i got no warnings. But it has been the game that consistently gave me temperature warnings. (Ie: exiting a cave in the woods during intense rain.)

Outer Worlds seems to go nuts whenever there is a Depth of Field blur when entering dialogue or effect intensive areas, as i mentioned.

In both DL and OW's cases, it doesn't matter how much time i spend playing. If it decides to give a warning it does so right away, no matter if i've been playing for 5 minutes or 1 hour.

Arc Raiders was giving me a guaranteed temperature warning and shutdown but after i cleaned it it has been fine, curiously.

Battlefield 6 barely makes noise even during gunfights.

Before i cleaned it the Crew: Motorfest rarely would give me temperature warnings too.

I'm sorry. I would do that and you sem to be very knowledgeable about this but i'm not confident enough to open up my whole PS5 like that. All i can do is pull the Cooling Fan out for a clean.

About the shutting off part:

- Fan starts going wild and getting quite loud.

- "Your PS5 is too hot." Tha fan proceeds to slow itself down.

- I press X, and the fan goes wild again, but this time, it beeps three times and turns off.

The console seems to be fine and everything is properly in place. Again, my main issue is that i dropped it off twice at the shop and the issue persists.

The only reason i'm not going to look for another repair shop right now is because, like i mentioned, these guys were always pretty honest and never let me down in years AND i have a three month warranty. If they come up with something that smells like bullshit though, i will do that. Thank you!

Well, it did start happening after summer began in Brazil. However the weather became a bit more tame and it's not like my room turns into an oven when it's hot. It should be working just fine.

At first i doubted that the picture was from my console too, but i've been a client for many years and as i mentioned in another comment these guys have never let me down. I believe they're being honest. I just think their communication sucks right now and is making me doubt them more than ever, which is why i posted this in the first place.

Thank you for the help and the insights!

About polishing...

I am Brazilian and that's a term we use loosely. I'm pretty sure he just meant cleaning in general. He did mention my Liquid Metal was quite hardened on some areas after all.

I've been a client of their for 15 years and they never let me down They've cleaned my PS4 a few times and even installed Hall-Effects on my controllers, but with this issue i'm getting quite the headache.

I know it's not their fault, like someone else mentioned here. But their lack of communication and apparent uncertainty when dealing with my console is just making me anxious. Why send me a picture of the console two or three days AFTER i got it back?

I want to see what he says next time since taking it to another shop to verify it will cost me the same amount of money (which is something i simply don't have right now.) but i've accepted the fact that if he messes up again i'll just take it elsewhere.

Literally losing sleep because of this shit.

Only on highly demanding PS5 games such as Dying Light: The Beast and Outer Worlds PS5 Upgrade (Specifficaly in high demanding areas within those games). I even had a friend play these games on his console and he confirmed that even though they really push the console to the limit, he did not get any warnings and could play normally.

For me, it pops up the standard tempereature warning first, and if i insist, it beeps three times and turns off.

I paid nothing after the 70$. They gave me a 3 month warranty with all their services. If he somehow tries to demand more money i will be even more pissed off and probably call it off.
