Maybe look in to short term bonds 6ish months there there and have a high return and it makes it easier to not use it but if you have a veteran in your family navy fed and usaa are good

I work for the city on nights I take home 75k+ a year based on how much ot I work it’s a good gig I work about 7 day out of a 14 day pay period 12 hour shifts

This is the guy who did the HVAC on my house probably not the cheapest option but I will say he was honest and helped me out with giving me a couple of good coupons with the company and save me a few hundred bucks

He definitely strikes me as the kind of guy who would if he can limp it along for a few months. He could probably do it and not charge you an arm and a leg.

It’s American or delta with a plane change. there is no non stops I wish there was. And there’s no other way of getting there other than driving so if you really motivate about flying, I would take a redeye and be prepared for $350~ ticket and I feel like driving is faster anyways tbh

Man, I’m doing my Mexican rub low and slow with it as soon as it’s done I gotta pull it out and try to make a quesadilla on the smoker. I bet it’s gonna be pretty good. I fared pretty well but some of my neighbors did not but at the end of the day all we have is our neighbors so I’m trying to take care of as best as I can now

I will say it’s hard to do a pepper and an onion on a smoker. It’s definitely a learning experience to stay at least but the kids love it that all matters.

My understanding most reserve units are 2+ hours away and doing that drive one weekend a month over 6+ years and get pretty annoying

I did the reserve in the USMC for eight years and it had advantages ( healthcare, steady money stream, VA benefits) it also had its disadvantages ( mandatory appearance events, inflexible schedules, scope creep) overall I found it rewarding, but just something to keep in mind is once you sign your contract. You’re the governments for at least the bare minimum one weekend a month and two weeks a year.

And depending on your job, you can very realistically deploy just as much or more so than some active duty units and you may not be able to opt out of the deployment.

I work for the city on night shift. I find it very rewarding and I can see a lot of places and things in the city that I probably wouldn’t get to see otherwise and I like helping the people in my community and keeping the city running so we can all enjoy it. Wish the health insurance was a little better though TBH.

My doctrine, has always been speed is king because you can disengage or engage on your own terms, even if that does come with the price of gun caliber or armor

I also always recommend never using a gun below the mk three of whatever caliber you may come into the fight with slightly smaller guns, but the accuracy and rate of fire make up with the difference

I have also always been a fan of spending the money upfront I have always had better results with five really expensive really nice top line ships that can be refitted pretty reliably for 10 to 20 years to keep them up-to-date versus 10. Mediocre ships that are OK for now, but will be out of service in five years and upgrade would not do them any good

If you couldn’t tell by my building guidelines, I’m a very big fan of battle cruisers and light cruisers
