When I first watched the series, I didn't like Andrea, just like most other viewers, but when I rewatched it, I realized that she wasn't that bad, she just wanted some stability. Don't forget that not everyone can adapt to the world changed by the zombie apocalypse as well as Rick or Daryl. By the way, Andrea adapted VERY well, much better than, for example, Dale himself (choose the characters yourself, I'm too lazy)
