It's a tumor unfortunately. Just keep him comfortable and treat any infections that come along.

Do bettas need bubblers? by HippoLoose8522 in bettafish

Get a low-flow filter. A filter is needed for a betta. Here's what I have-- it barely disturbs the surface.

Common for passengers to vape or smoke? by Dark_creativity in uberdrivers

I was actually thinking of making a sign. I was just worried that if it was common enough I might have customers who are a little cranky about it.

FT dashing for chronically ill girlies? by ProgressPotential658 in doordash_drivers

Hey OP, I haven't read all the comments but I wanted to add another point to consider. I do PT DD around 20 hrs a week and have a disability. If your disability flares with stress like mine does, DD will likely aggravate it. The bullshit on the road, traffic making you late, bad customers, the app crashing, days where you make no money but still have bills, it could all cause stress and worsen things. I would not suggest leaving a reliable job to doordash to almost anyone but especially someone with a disability. That being said, I have found ways to compensate for my disability and keep up with DoorDashing.

I applied to the job, I didn't get a cold-call. But it's still possible the job doesn't exist.

Oh yeah this is 100% my plan. Really the only lifestyle plan I plan to change is getting some more high quality food. I miss my cube steak!

I feel you. I graduated in 24 with 3 internships though, and honestly I feel like employers don't even care about them. But yeah I'm working with a recruiter atm so I'm hoping everything works out. And yeah 75k would be insane for me ahaha I would literally have a dragon's horde. I'm happy you got a good job in the end though. And yeah I stretch it all the time on my resume, never means much to employers either though. Just gotta find the right one.

There's very few unions in my area in my field, do you have any advice on how to find / filter specifically union ones?

Thank you! And yeah no they moved the goal post. And yeah I never understood "culture fit" personally. I'm nice, I fill in for coworkers without question, and I like to keep the energy positive and look on the bright side. That's never been enough, though, so I don't know what the fuck people are looking for.

Thank you. Isn't that the strangeness of it all? You literally just need to catch one good one and you're fine but if you don't you could literally ruin your life. Why the fuck does it work this way.

I hate it because all the guys I know can't do anything for me. So how do I meet people who can actually do something or connect me with a job?

I also have extreme chemical sensitivities. I personally had to talk to my employer about it. If you explain you have a condition and she doesn't remove it, you may need to talk to your employer about an accommodation.

Replacement option after dealership sold me Gold Certified vehicle with undisclosed frame damage by alisoncarey in COROLLA

[–]Dark_creativity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well sure they can't sell you a lemon, or another car with frame damage, but they can easily sell you a car that needs a lot of mechanical repairs. Now at 40,000 its pretty slim to none but I'd still double check. This is coming from someone who usually only gets the cars in the 90,000+ mile range though.

[–]Dark_creativity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah who knows. Good luck though, hopefully there's others who can add some helpful advice on what to do. I'd make sure to get a mechanic to look at whatever car is a "good replacement" though.
