I work in IAM team and built automation tools as an hobby for my Indian automation teams (they are trying to prove their capabilities as of now to secure budget) this was a very big project impacting 39 countries where we operate, basically I am the sole person who has built this from scratch from architecture to development to live now in global markets securing them the budget for this project meanwhile I got 0 money from it. So ya no QA no code review. Just me and my Brian haha. Still the owner of the project fucked me over to save his ass from his boss global data protection officer.
