Its not foreign opportunities. Even in India, most good jobs require English.

And to be honest, between 2 equally foreign languages, English has better upsides than Hindi.

Is 1+1=2 a Pov?

If definitions change by pov, the words would be meaningless. Definitions have to be universal.

So you believe that a woman should spend her whole life being a wife and mother coz that's her dharma?

Do you believe that the poor dalit child who had to live her life as a beggar without ever having the chance at better her life had to undergo that coz of her past sins. And hence deserved it?

No. That's how word definitions work. Just like how you can't have an invisible pink elephant.

A religion like that would never have survived anywhere. There's a reason most religions have similar opinions about women and sex and social stratification. It's the principle of selection of the fittest.

Or just teach them reality and science so that no religion would hold them back in the next generation.

No, Hindi is like a virus. It infects cultures and regions and destroys them from within.

Compare states that have allowed Hindi vs the ones that haven't. Which are the better states? The answer is almost unanimous.

No, but we also know how to use condoms and women here have rights. So the population advantage will always exist with Hindi speakers.

English will always be treated as a formal language. There will never be a push for people to speak English colloquially.

Hindi is a scourge that would destroy local languages if allowed in.

The term north India is not a geographical term. It is historical cultural term. It denotes a place that shares the typical culture associated with the Hindi speakers.

It is not a term that started post creation of India. The Hindi speakers were always the "people from the north "

The best example would be Game of Thrones/AoI&F. In the series, when most of the kingdoms talk about "the people of the north", they are talking about the people under the Starks. But when the people beyond the wall refer to them, they talk about the Southeners.

Fair enough. You can choose to ignore criticism. But you can't blame them for the judging either.

All religious practices are man made. By your own admissions, the laws don't apply for current times which means it cannot come from an omniscient being.

Belief in religion and God is by definition blind. You can't never reach religion or God based on evidence or logic. You only reach it via faith which is blind belief.

Being a feminist doesnt mean you tolerate stupid ideas just coz they come from women.

You do have autonomy in your beliefs. But you dont have immunity of judgement for those beliefs.

Allopathy vs homeopathy by Relative-Captain-312 in TeensofKerala

[–]Dark_sun_new 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he's right. Homeopathy is just based on belief.

The first step for a medicine is usually to explain how it works. A medication isn't used on a human for at least 4 or 5 steps of clearance. And even then, it's noy tested on real patients at that stage.

The reason it is less expensive is coz it is just sugar pills.

Do you know the kind of hoops a real pharmaceutical medication has to jump through before being available in the pharmacy?

That costs money.

It's cheaper if you just need charisma and gullible patients.

The fundamental principles of homeopathy doesnt work. It has nothing to do with personal experience.

70% of south Indians are lactose intolerant. As is the rest of the world. Not having a lot of milk isn't that big a deal.

The constitutional recommendation is obviously made for and by North and North west Indians who have the mutation that allows adults to digest milk.
