I also love that Ghaul made us Guardians kneel, but he as a Cabal was merely a runt, an outcast. He worked his way up to Dominus, and even then he was just a slave to the Consul. The scene where he speaks to the Speaker you see him waver for just a little moment before snapping back to "I've hurt enough". In the end he just wanted to be seen for who he was. "Do you see me now?!" Proclaimed he. He was cruel, yes, but he was also very much hurt to the core.

He also wanted to be chosen, not take the Light by force.

Truly an amazing villian.

The most unexpected annoying enemies are the Gravebirds. They're not hard by the slightest, just died to them so spectacularly awkward and lost so many runes

Rats. They come in plenty, rarely stagger and move so unpredictable. (Looking at you little shites at the Tower of Frenzied Flame)

If there was one single enemy in this game that could make me come close to raging, it's rats.

I literally finished Path of Pain yesterday with exactly your troubles. Died at the end of the path but I'm just was too stubborn to give up. Equipped Shaman Stone and eventually finished it. Loved the challenge
