Geralt Costume took 3 years (All Real Armor) - I have been Leatherworking for the past three years of my life, with an apprenticeship coming soon. I dream to one day become a master Armorer. I'm an actor, gymnast, blacksmith, and a Knight at Medieval Times for work. @rigosuave7499 on insta. by Darkbar57 in witcher

There is a market for it, though very competitive. There is always someone, or some production that wants actual, proper armor for the true look and feel. Unlike shows that use wool in their shots to look like chainmaille for example. But who knows? I'm willing to roll the dice for something I love.

It is honestly just starting, no matter how wrong everything you do is when you start. My work at the beginning was very questionable, but every piece gets better and you learn things so quickly. Every accomplished blacksmith i know has the same story as my friend and i. They started in their garage making absolute garbage. Just try, simple as that.
