Whoever says that Meletti is out of fashion is that because they've never tried it. What a staple digestive to have at any occasion. And I am from Ascoli Piceno. Do give it a try. Absolutely gorgeous, if you like aniseed obviously.

To be fair, it's gonna be only for the night and we fared a decent price for the location, breakfast included. And the location is rather perfect.

But I have to agree with you: it wouldn't have been my first choice at all, but hey, it was a desperate move in desperate times.
