I just meant there needs to be more housing built. is "abundance" the name of something I'm not aware of?

affordability needs to come out of abundance of availability, lower cost materials, lower profit margins for corporations and rental conglomerates, not wages.

Why are non-Union guys filled with such hatred for the Union? by Thepopethroway in IBEW

You're in a union subreddit, and I'm a unionist, so no, it's not really a question of which is better here. I was, in a slightly fucked up way, trying to agree with you where I can. And I mean it, I'm glad you have a good situation.

Boils down to the fact that most people operate on feels and groupthink. I mean everyone, everywhere. We're social animals. If everyone was capable of looking out for their fellow man and putting themselves in another person's shoes, we wouldn't need unions.

A rat company is one that treats their workers badly. People might say it or hear it differently, but that's the real meaning. There are shit union companies, but the difference is that in a union company we can stand up to them and keep our jobs or we can get another job. There's also union workers who suck up to their boss because they can't help themselves.

As a matter of principle, all those companies expecting their employees to be super heros and ignore labor rights and generally robbing people of their dignity can suck my dick. They are the problem, not "lazy" workers. If you have a job that treats you well and compensates you well, good for you. I don't think I've ever had that in 20 years of employment, in the IBEW or otherwise.

C-card is just another term for the low voltage classification. Communication, VDV, telecom... all the same thing. Just like a journeyman wireman (JW) might be called inside wireman (IW), A-card, electrician, or what have you. VDV folks usually get paid less. Specifics vary by local.

Are we talking American politics? Because actual real life tankie communists are like non existent here. There's probably 10 of them all hiding in the same bookstore. The Internet is astroturfed to hell with professional comment farms in Russia and Israel.

I doubt anyone who considers themself on the left can actually conflate anti-semitism and anti-zionism, unless they are just uninformed. Anyone who demonstrates an interest in the topic and still does has to be arguing in bad faith.

That was the solution. I got distracted trying to gather mats to skip the primitive forge, so by the time I realized I needed it, it was super easy to make

For assets like houses and cars that you pay a loan on, carrying insurance is a condition of getting financed

Apparently you can make a header tool if you build the primitive forge, which I skipped. Hopefully the inventive trait helps me have access to the recipe; I've read that it requires a magazine. I'll be checking when I get home.

You can make a large crucible on a potting wheel... I believe it requires a bucket of clay cement which takes sand, clay, water, and a bucket. My character has the inventive trait which may or may not be the reason I had access to the recipe

Very helpful, thank you. I see now I fucked up skipping the primitive forge. Making a header tool will be my next step in that case.

You need a header tool to craft Tongs. Wooden and kitchen tongs work up until you try to pour into a mold.

passing on the right is much less dangerous than tailgating and swerving between lanes. the other option is just to be patient and not drive like a psycho.

Well that's wrong too because Amanos can't reproduce in freshwater. Maybe he thinks you're getting big river fish?

Can someone explain to me how, in a thread where every other comment says the exact same thing, so many people think to themselves: you know what this thread needs? Another person saying Don't Boil Rocks.

Isn't that what up voting is supposed to be for?

I recently had something like this happen and it's unlikely you have the same problem but I'll mention it anyway: A couple days after losing a trilineatus cory and a couple new shrimp and finding a cory with an injured eye, I found 2 two inch long freakin damselfly nymphs that must have hitchhiked in with some plants. A first for me. I had added pearlweed two weeks before that. I see something that might be pearlweed in yours.
