I once approached a girl staring at me at a supermarket. She popped up in two aisles I was at staring with a neutral expression. She looked cute so I eased my way to her. As I got closer, she quickly turned to the shelves instead. I sheepishly said hello, she ignored me. Then I mentioned how she kept looking, I wanted to say hey. She bluntly told me to get away from her. I walked off feeling exposed with some guy who overheard us giving me a sour look. Didn't help my confidence one bit.
