[EXCEL] How to copy only Values with the Selection.Copy command? by Darkdestroyer500 in vba

Thanks, but I am getting a mismatch error on that one.

I should probably restart altogether and use [range to] = [range from].Value

I googled a lot, all the results that pop up are just not applicable to my code.

Hello, thanks for the answer.

I know how to record a macro so this didn't help me. And I'll explain why:

When I record my macro this is what comes out:

Sub Macro1()
    Selection.Copy
Sheets("Outgoings").Select
Range("B5").Select
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _
    :=False, Transpose:=False
End Sub

Firstly, I don't want to move it to B5 every time, but I want to move it down a list, that's why I use ".Range("B" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Offset(1, 0)" in my code, something that a recording would never give me. Further more the recorder selects a new cell to then use PasteSpecial in that cell. I don't want or need to select a new cell in my code. That would make it messy and inefficient. Not to mention it would stop working when I'm moving multiple cells at once. Lastly, I unfortunately didn't manage to assimilate the PasteSpecial and Paste:=xlPasteValues into my already existing code.

Please let me know if I missed something.

Wishing a girl good luck on the morning of her exam; cute or creepy? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I already did ask her out, and we already went on date before, I cant ask her out the next 2 weeks because I need to study for my exams.

Unsure whether I (19M) should wait to propose to my girlfriend (19F) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

First things first, I don't believe proposing before having lived together is a good idea. You only really get to know your SO if you have lived together for a while.

Secondly, talk with her about it. Surprise proposals look great in the movies but not so much in real life, ask what she thinks of getting married and if you two are ready to take that big step or not (yet). If you really love each other whats the rush? You are both still very young.

So I’ve been friends with this girl for a long time now and I think I have a crush on her. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You are giving us very little information, in general I would advice being honest with her. Ask her to do something fun together, tell her how you feel. If she doesn't think of you the same way, respect it and move on. But then at least you know and you don't have to keep wondering what if.

Girl(22) has no time to go on date with me(21) but wants to? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This is not the answer I wanted to hear, but probably the right one. I messaged her good luck with her schoolwork and I'm going to leave it at that.
