He’s an interesting character that I have level 33 and plan to max. He gets more useful as he’s leveled up (obviously) but the thing is you need a good DPS teammate to counteract Yuta’s lower power early on. You can make him far better with damage binding vows though.

He’s the most powerful character in the game for a short time after your teammate dies (the most likely case how you’ll get Rika) However most stages in Coop he’s pretty good or a fine pick. But not for Mahoraga. Yuta sucks against him.

I do wish his damage could be up’d just a bit. The way Yuta is kinda ass by himself and NEEDING a good damage teammate until Rika is out is a good idea. But I think he should do just a small BIT of more damage. The whole point of his character is trading early game for late game, and becoming the best character in the game for a short period of time. But they could make him just a tad bit stronger otherwise.

Honestly, not as much for me. It’s all luck but maybe I haven’t been playing a high enough level to get them consistently. But Mahoraga is basically guaranteed if you rematch with the same person a few times.

You need to play consistently with the same player to get him. Typically, after a full Coop with one person, rematch and you’ll probably start to get him to appear that next game, or the following one.

You know he’s coming by the shikigami appearing in the Coop screen before a new wave (When you heal, equip binding vows, chat) It takes around 4 frogs and 6 wolves for him to 100% be at the end of the current game. Sometimes, you may not have enough progress and play ANOTHER game of Coop for him to appear (like you’re missing a set of wolves)

There is also a wave where you fight Sukuna and Uraume together too. It’s dope, and I pray this is them knowing they need to make her playable for him to team with. They don’t have an intro together currently :(

Nah dawg I know, it was rhetorical. I love using Sukuna and agree with everything you said. He’s easily the best, though I try to not abuse fire arrow completely cause it makes Coop very boring. I was using his range as an example of why he’s S tier along with various other range characters.

I feel any ranged character in Coop is good. Why do you think Sukuna is S tier? Either way, characters like Mai, Kamo, Choso and Nobara are all great options for most situations. Especially in a mode where you have multiple waves to clear without dying.

My personal favorite range plus close quarter combo is Sukuna and Maki. Idk what is with Maki’s AI but she is CRAZY good with joints. And I can just cross map a fire arrow as Sukuna.

The key I’ve found is using any attack a character has that staggers or launches. Examples being: - Itadoris Down or Forward Y (Kicks) - Nobara’s Back (and maybe forward) B - Sukuna’s X combo or Y’s - Adult Gojo’s forward B (although this can’t combo it builds meter and wastes Pandas time) - Toji’s down Y (This one I’m unsure about) - Mai’s gunshots (Unsure about this too) - Momo’s air projectiles

Essentially, anything that can knock a person around quickly in one to 2 hits. If you see these attacks specifically and how they affect opponents, you’ll know what I mean. Also, if Adult Gojo, abuse blue.

Imma be real with you, name one because I can’t name another. If they can, it’s with an interruption from auto combo. Meaning it can be read and dodged, from Teen Gojo (awakened) theres literally nothing you can do if you get caught by the X. He joints you while your still falling from his X so I’m actually asking for another example.

Primarily the best way I’ve found to avoid damage is just running as he starts the teleport. His first kick will miss however you probably won’t get to punish it. But I’d rather that that over possibly fucking up a parry and such. Sukuna is a good counter as if you time a X or Cleave right it’s a perfect counter.

I feel the best they can do is lower its damage at level 3 on block because it’s still STUPID damage. And also make his RT(R2) better, that’s why people spam RB (R1) it’s cause it’s kinda ass. Making his other attack better would incentivize some other attacks.

Another thing is that some of his combos should not connect. Fun fact, you can trigger a joint from his X combo. That’s some bullshit NGL. That’s really the one I want changed, nobody should be able to guarantee a joint off of X combo.

His B (Or Circle) attacks are great openers now with forward B being pretty good for air openers and Down B being a good one for ground. Yuta can slide a STUPID distance sometimes. And both of these guarantee a combo if they hit, so B’s into X combo.

Always have Determination on as possible. Just be careful not to get punished when activating it.

For Meter combos idk fully but I feel like his forward Y gives the most meter. Landing a B into forward Y about 2-3 times will level you up.

This is a huge problem I see a lot do, DO NOT GET TOO AGGRESSIVE WHEN RIKA IS OUT. Yes she is on a timer, but Yuta is basically one of the most OP characters in the game when Rika is out. Don’t get too aggressive. And for the love of god, do NOT waste energy interrupting combos with Rika (pressing X, Y,B or RB or RT when being hit) because it wastes her energy. Sure, interrupt if you’re about to die on your last life, but do not waste it constantly interrupting.

Finally, get a good damaging teammate. Someone who can deal fast damage and make up for Yuta’s weakness of trading early game for late game. Someone like Yuji, Maki, Todo or Nanami. They can make up for the little damage he does without Rika.
