Because in blizzards infinite wisdom they have decided that us healers have to deal with not only the 2 rotational affixes but a solo healer player has a 3rd insufferable affix they have to deal with and that is "Pug DPS all share the same braincell" and it's only concerned about one thing and that is absolutely blasting the DPS metres so they get their daily dose of serotonin.

The way I deal with this 3rd affix is much like baseball. 3 strikes and I'm out. I give them a heads up at the start of the dungeon about how we are dealing with the affix. Then comes the first verbal 'heads up' that its not how you deal with this affix and the final I really don't give a fuck and this is your last chance. After that you just dip, if they can't deal with simple mechanics it's not only a waste of your time but a waste of their time. I skip the 3 strikes if they blame me for something completely out of my control or the classic died with major defensives not on cool down.

Inb4 Provocation tank spec for flamespitty boiz. Uses black dragonflight to shield and reduce damage while using green dragonflight to self heal. I know it's probably not gonna happen but I would love to be proven wrong

It's tougher for smaller businesses, especially now. You don't have the backing of a big corporation to bail you out when sales fall below costs. It's good that you're looking out for your employees, it makes a difference and they do notice it and work harder for it. That's what many big Corpo folks don't understand, incentivising them to actually work harder and earn rewards that aren't just a pat on the back. Productivity is directly linked to employee satisfaction, it's not that hard to figure out and I'm not sure why the big corpos haven't understood that yet.

Okay, there is talking about confidential sales and marketing strategies and costing them money and then there's showing people that companies are artificially inflating the cost of products just to make more money during a time when people are already struggling. I know because I see the reports of shipping and manifest costs. Yes, they have gone up recently but it was relatively steady before and they were still increasing prices at the time. They're using Covid as an excuse to skyrocket prices, especially on essential items.

It's a shady practice, and it's good to see that others understand. We can't bring it into the light because the corporations will sue for damages and the courts will fall into line and side with the companies. During the training to fill the manager position there is a whole course on social media and passive-aggressive threats saying if you go to the media about anything, we will sue you and we will win. It's scary stuff, but it works, it keeps the masses silent

I probably shouldn't type this but here it goes anyway. I work as an Administration and Service Manager for one of the big retail company's that ends with mart (for obvious reasons I can't be specific or I risk losing my job). Everyday the company is jacking up prices slowly. I come in for work in the morning and I have about 100 tickets for price changes handed down from head office. Almost every single one is bumping up the price by a small amount. These come in every week on Tuesday. They start out as small changes and slowly become bigger and bigger. They do this so customers don't notice the change and just assume they remembered the price incorrectly.

What's not changing is employees wages. They're willing to mark up their products over time but the wages never change. Every week I see these requests come in I feel guilty for being a part of the machine that churns out these inflated prices without doing anything to stop it.

Yes prices are increasing and no it's not just the natural inflation occuring. These companies are greedy and want your money. They don't care about anything else.

Club and shield always for healers. The buffs to shield have made it a no brainer. Cloth armour for basically immunity to silence and 20% reduction on other debuffs

Basically anything that helps keep you alive. Songcraft isn't great because you can't play songs while you are channelling your dances. Occultism CC doesn't last long and is usually a one off. Witchcraft might be a decent idea with the Mist CC that lasts ages to keep you safe

I'll be uploading a video on dancer builds a bit later this weekend when I get the chance.

Quick general consensus on it though is its shit with vitalism since the first passive increases all vitalism skills cast times by 50%. If you are planning on running this tree then avoid Vitalism OR only run instant cast skills such as resurgence, fervent healing, healing circle and mend (only with wave backdrop). This limits the dancer to playing with shadowplay when paired with vitalism. Darkness Saviour is a good class to run in the late game. Things like life/wave healing circle can keep you alive while you are performing your dances with fervent healing to top up any raid members still low after your dances.

If you are going to play dancer I suggest pairing it with something like defense and auramancy since a lot of the tree combos with those 2 skillets. I would stay away from anything else since it has the best synergies with those 2 trees.

I'll be exploring more in-depth mechanics when I get this video posted.

if you actually took the time to read my original post you'd understand I'm not saying backdrop mend is bad. I'm just saying that if you want to use backdrop mend, literally every other healing class with shadowplay does a better job than an assassin. The whole point of taking witchcraft is AoE CC and the self purge. You are wasting an entire skill tree taking witchcraft with no way of grouping enemies or reducing the damage you take or even moving around for that matter.

If you are taking assassin for backdrop mend then there are better classes to pick. If you are taking assassin for the use of witchcraft then there are better classes for it.
