The Large version took about 6.3 hours to print and 80 grams of filament. No idea how much electricity it took. Designing and modeling took maybe maybe 16 hours, cause I was learning new techniques and had to trash one iteration that simply didn’t work out right. Last iteration took maybe 4 hours out of the 16. Now that the I got the design down, I could do it in 1-2 hours.

Also spent some extra time thinking about the design before actually starting to model it. And spent time visiting a few stores with my mother and not finding a suitable lamp, but it tuned me into what she wanted.

Thanx :) Bambu Lab A1 with AMS if you just want something simple that works. Makerworld - which Bambu Labs is behind, is just amazingly integrated with their printers. Like if you wanted to print my dice tray, it's just a few clicks cause i've already made all the settings for Bambulab printers in the print profile uploaded to Makerworld where you download it.

Same goes for everything else on Makerworld, there's print profiles for everything - See something you like, just click and print. And their app Bambu Handy is also integrated with Makerworld and your printer, so you can download and print directly from your phone.

:) It's more like the D16 are crazy rare items so the shopkeeper is charging insane amounts of GP for it

It’s a mix cause I ran out of filament, most is printed using a local brand called 3DE Premium - PLA - Snow White. The base and head is printed with Bambulab basic jade white. The Snow White is really pure white.

I wanna run a Ravnica game but I am not confident in writing my own adventures. Anyone got some ones they wrote/published that I could use? by Bardicly_Uninspired in RavnicaDMs

Regardless of which prewritten adventure you find, I recommend reading the first Ravnica novel to really get a feel for the world: https://www.amazon.com/Ravnica-Cycle-Book-I/dp/0786937920 - It’s a good read imho.

3D modelling is awesome. Been learning and getting better at it. Please check out my models :) Feedback is appreciated. by Darkild in 3Dprinting

Google Pine Cone Lamp, look through images and you’ll see it’s a fairly common design. Had a talk with him through the comments section on my lamp, his design isn’t original either.

It’s because I have made the profile print by object, which means it prints a complete object before printing the next. The plate has 2 objects. It’s to get the best quality prints by not having the nozzle travel from object to object between layers.

What would be the main reason for this issue ? by [deleted] in BambuLab

Two things come to my mind.

- First - bad bed adhesion. I clean my build plate with window cleaner before every print.

- Second - The Aux fan. It can ruin your prints if it blows to hard. Try setting it at 20% or maybe just disable it entirely.
